This is the man pulling Starmer’s strings.

But did you know that in his youth, Morgan McSweeney lived on an Israeli settlement?

I’ve been doing some digging, and I can’t believe what I’ve discovered…🧵

Little is written about McSweeney’s decisions to drop out of university and subsequently move to Sarid, a Jewish colony built upon the “flourishing” Palestinian village of Ikhneifis.

According to the Jerusalem Post, in the late 90s, McSweeney became “closely acquainted” with Hashomer Hatza’ir, a Zionist settler movement founded in Austria-Hungary in 1913.

Sarid was established by Zionist settlers from Lithuania + Czechoslovakia.

In June '23, the President of the Czech Parliament Markéta Pekarová Adamová visited the colony.

In December '23, she flew to occupied Palestine to express political support for the genocide in Gaza.

When the Gaza genocide commenced, McSweeney texted colleagues: “We must direct the discussion to [Hamas].”

He previously collaborated with the Jewish Labour Movement to recruit Countdown presenter Rachel Riley. They smeared @thecanaryuk news site + targeted their advertisers.

Upon joining Labour in 2001, McSweeney worked on Peter Mandelson’s “Excalibur” database.

Starmer overruled security services to promote Mandelson, despite him being a close friend of convicted paedophile + suspected Israeli intelligence asset Jeffrey Epstein.

McSweeney was “very insistent” on Mandelson’s appointment + reportedly delayed his sacking.

Blair advisor John McTernan praised McSweeney as “the new Peter Mandelson”. McTernan supports the 2003 invasion of Iraq and has stated: “Anti-Zionism is anti-semitism, plain and simple.”

In 2006, McSweeney campaigned for Steve Reed in Lambeth.

Reed has described Labour under Corbyn as “horrific” + “antisemitic” and has declared his consistent support for Labour Friends of Israel.

In Oct 2013 and Nov 2014, Reed took LFI-funded trips to occupied Palestine.

In 2020, Reed secretly met Trevor Chinn, a recent recipient of the “Israeli Presidential Medal of Honour”, and five other Israel lobbyists.

As reported by @intifada, the meeting’s minutes confirmed that the lobbyists had now set up “a regular channel of communication” with Reed.

From 2008-10, McSweeney campaigned alongside David Evans, Jon Cruddas, + Margaret Hodge in Barking & Dagenham.

David Evans kicked Corbyn out of Labour and was subsequently handed a life peerage by Starmer. The Jewish Chronicle describes him as a “fierce critic of anti-Zionism”.

Jon Cruddas, who voted for the Iraq war, was another parliamentary supporter of LFI.

He was also a leading figure in Maurice Glasman’s Blue Labour project. Glasman, who has stated that "anyone who wants to boycott Israel should boycott [him]", described McSweeney as “one of us”.

Margaret Hodge describes herself as “a committed Zionist” and is another supporter of Labour Friends of Israel.

LFI took Hodge to occupied Palestine in Jan ’24, during the Gaza genocide, where she met Isaac “no civilians” Herzog.

Starmer gave Hodge a life peerage.

McSweeney’s Barking & Dagenham campaign was also supported by Hope not Hate.

Previous figures at HNH include Ruth Smeeth of BICOM + Labour Friends of Israel, Jemma Levene, a blogger for the Times of Israel, + Liron Velleman, a pro-Israeli activist in the Jewish Labour Movement.

In 2015, McSweeney ran Liz Kendall’s leadership campaign.

Kendall refused to vote to recognise Palestine in ‘14. In ‘15, she told Labour Friends of Israel that she would fight Israel boycotts + sanctions with “every fibre in [her] being”, and she joined LFI the following year.

In 2017, McSweeney became director of “Labour Together”.

The board included prolific Israel lobbyist Trevor Chinn, who has previously funded both Conservative + Labour “Friends of Israel”.

McSweeney concealed £739,492 in donations to LT “to protect Trevor”.

McSweeney was advised to claim an “admin error” by solicitor Gerald Shamash.

Shamash previously took action against Tony Greenstein on behalf of Labour + Scott Horner, a party official who got a discussion on sanctions against Israel banned.

Starmer made Shamash a life peer.

McSweeney’s Labour Together board also included Lisa Nandy.

Nandy demanded sackings after the BBC broadcasted the “Gaza: How to Survive a Warzone” documentary. The program was subsequently pulled.

She has received thousands from Israel lobbyists Stuart Roden + Trevor Chinn.

After covertly attacking the Canary, McSweeney instead forged ties between Labour Together + the Guardian.

Historic Guardian editor C. P. Scott was a committed Zionist + close friend of Chaim Weizmann. He introduced Weizmann to the PM + helped lobby for the Balfour Declaration.

Starmer put McSweeney in charge of Labour candidate selection.

One of their “winners” was Imogen Walker, McSweeney’s wife.

Walker has received donations from Israel lobbyist + Gary Lubner + McSweeney’s Labour Together.

Epstein-associate Mandelson helped fundraise for Walker.

Michael Gove has eulogised McSweeney as “a fighter ruthless in identifying the real enemy”.

“Proud Zionist” Gove recently suggested that the genocidal Israeli military should receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

During the 2024 general election campaign, McSweeney conferred with Neera Tandy of the US Democrats and Anthony Albanese of the Australian Labor Party.

In Nov ‘15, Tandy hosted Netanyahu for a talk on “ways to strengthen the partnership between Israel + the US.”

In March 2024, Albanese was the referred to the ICC as an accessory to genocide for defunding URNWA, providing military aid and “unequivocal political support” to the Israeli state, and allowing Australians to join the Israeli military.

Last week, McSweeney personally lobbied for Australian press baron Rupert Murdoch to be invited to the Trump state banquet. McSweeney + Murdoch sat next to each other at the dinner.

As @Lowkey0nline told Piers Morgan, Murdoch is a close friend and suspected funder of Netanyahu.

Journalist George Eaton said that the current Labour cabinet “more than ever, is made in McSweeney’s image.”

Starmer’s “recognition” of Palestine is a smokescreen.

McSweeney is running the government.
