Applicants must "read the attached article before the interview."

The article is "White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Knapsack" by Peggy McIntosh.

She is described as an American feminist and anti-racism activist by Wikipedia.

This interview is just a way to filter out conservatives.

@CMUniversity is a taxpayer-funded public university.

"The essay argues that acknowledging white privilege requires a shift from the idea of pure meritocracy and calls for white people to use their unearned power to dismantle the systems that create and maintain racial inequality."

@CMUniversity Their master's of counseling program website says it can help you become a school counselor for K-12 children.

Yet they require prospective students to read about WHITE PRIVILEGE.

They're training counselors for young children.

BREAKING: After calling them out on X, Central Michigan University will no longer require prospective students to read an article on "WHITE PRIVILEGE" as part of the interview process.

The latest email removing the requirement was sent by their program director, Sheri Pickover.
