Look for brand new accounts that have placed decent size trades on the market.
You see this more often with markets ending soon, or pending announcements coming.
Check the activity to see if many new wallets are buying in smaller batches to specific sides of a market.
You will start to see the outliers.
A new account buying size as their only trade on a market that feels like it's wrong?
Multiple new wallets buying small size on one position that feels off?
A major political event that is shifting in real time, and its largely because of new wallets, large size from fresh wallets
The inside edge can literally make you money.
You could have caught
- Eric Adams dropping out
- Bad Bunny being the halftime show
