Richard Hermer, British attorney general and “close confidante” of Starmer, has been rallying against “inflammatory rhetoric”.
But did you know that Hermer has family members in the Israeli army?
Is Labour’s attorney general compromised? I did some research to find out…🧵
Hermer told the Jewish Chronicle in July 2023 that grew up in “blue-box” family, a reference to the blue collection boxes used to raise money for the Jewish National Fund, the largest builder of illegal settlements.
Patrons of the JNF include the depraved Netanyahu + Blair.
The JNF specifies that only Jews can buy or lease its land. In response to a 2004 legal challenge, the “charity” said: “The loyalty of the JNF is to the Jewish people and only to them is the JNF obligated. The JNF…does not have a duty to practice equality towards all citizens.”
Hermer also told the Jewish Chronicle that he has “dear family members” currently serving in the Israeli army.
The same army decapitating children + babies in Gaza.
The same army wearing Palestinian women’s clothes and dancing in TikTok videos after destroying their homes.
Hermer added: “I actively support a range of Israeli organisations.”
At the Jewish Labour Movement’s annual conference in January, he said that he wished to see a world where you can “love being in Israel”, and lamented that “somehow you have to pick one-side or the other.”
Hermer revealed that he had visited the Zionist state in his youth, + as a member of Starmer’s government “on more occasions than he could count”.
Last July, Hermer made a “low-key” trip to warn the Israeli government that Labour could change their policy on supplying weapons.
When he returned to Britain, he declined to authorise the suspension of weapons export licenses, claiming that he needed to know if the weapons were “offensive”.
Last month, Hermer refused to grant an arrest warrant for Isaac “no civilians” Herzog, the Israeli genocidaire.
Hermer + Starmer served in the same law chambers.
He also donated to Starmer’s 2020 leadership campaign. After being elected, Starmer made him attorney general.
Hermer also worked with former vice-chair of the Jewish Labour Movement and briefly solicitor-general Sarah Sackman.
Since 2024, Sackman has received tens of thousands of pounds from lobbyists Jonathan Mendelsohn, Gary Lubner, Stephen Grabiner, Michael Sternberg, Jonathan Kestenbaum and Trevor Chinn. But guess who else has funded her?
Labour Together.
Hermer is also a former officer for the Union of Jewish Students. Former UJS activist Adam Schapira has confirmed that the group is directly funded by the Israeli embassy in London.
Yair Zivan, a campaigns officer for UJS, later become a press officer for the Israeli military.
In an October ‘23 interview with Sangita Myska, Hermer repeatedly emphasised the Israeli state’s “right to self-defence” in Gaza.
In fact, occupying powers have no such right in territories they occupy, as confirmed by Article 51 of the UN Charter + the Fourth Geneva Convention.
Myska was fired by LBC after a heated exchange with Israeli government spokesperson Avi Hyman.
LBC instead hired Vanessa Feltz, who has also declared that she has “very close family members, lots of them”, living in occupied Palestine.
Myska later revealed that a LBC producer once told her: “there’s no such thing as Palestine.”
LBC is owned by Global Media, which is chaired by Labour peer Charles Allen.
Does Allen’s role affect LBC’s impartiality?
Incredibly, Hermer is not the only British political figure with links to the Israeli military. Former Conservative Home Secretary Suella Braverman also claimed to have “close family members who serve in the IDF” + called for the banning of boycotts targeting the Israeli state.
Robert Jenrick has described former Israeli militant Idan Ofer as a “family friend”.
In May 2021, Jenrick said that “anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism”, and last year, he called for the Star of David to be displayed at British borders.
This weekend, I received a message from a Labour activist saying that I would soon “need lawyers”, but threats won’t stop me from telling the truth.
EXCLUSIVE: After a phone call w/ a senior political contact in Scotland, I’ve been passed a list of 52 Labour MPs who have donations from Labour Together NOT registered on Electoral Commission website.
LT have funded a whole network of candidates to cement their grip on power:🧵
Labour Together bankrolled 123 candidates at the 2024 general election. Of them, 111 (90%) were successfully elected.
It seems that candidates in “danger” seats got extra support. Shabana Mahmood, whose majority dropped from 68% to 9%, received the most: a staggering £137,168.
Imogen Walker, Morgan McSweeney’s wife, was parachuted into the Hamilton and Clyde Valley seat.
She received £10k from Labour Together + £15k from lobbyist Gary Lubner, but her election returns only show £18k.
REVEALED: Two more funders of Labour Together, the secretive lobby group of Morgan McSweeney fame.
After concealing £739,492, McSweeney has moved to Starmer’s chief of staff, but LT continue to rake in the cash.
I've uncovered another two figures buying Starmer’s obedience.🧵
David Sainsbury has donated over £856,500 to Labour Together since April 2024.
Sainsbury has also funded the central Labour Party. On June 7th 2024, one day after Starmer’s election, Labour registered a single donation from Sainsbury…
A payment of £2.5 million.
Again, we find that Starmer is the disciple of war monger + digital ID fanatic Tony Blair.
Sainsbury served as a government minister for Blair for eight years.
In that time, WHILST working for Blair, Sainsbury gave Labour £15 million.
Asides from bankrolling Labour Together, Chinn has personally funded Keir Starmer, Angela Rayner, Rachel Reeves, Bridget Phillipson, Lisa Nandy, Wes Streeting, David Lammy, + many more.
Chinn was a director of Labour Together from 31 March 2016 – 16 September 2024.
He has funded both Conservative and Labour Friends of Israel throughout his life, and was personally awarded for “service to the state of Israel” by Isaac “no civilians” Herzog.
But did you know that in his youth, Morgan McSweeney lived on an Israeli settlement?
I’ve been doing some digging, and I can’t believe what I’ve discovered…🧵
Little is written about McSweeney’s decisions to drop out of university and subsequently move to Sarid, a Jewish colony built upon the “flourishing” Palestinian village of Ikhneifis.
According to the Jerusalem Post, in the late 90s, McSweeney became “closely acquainted” with Hashomer Hatza’ir, a Zionist settler movement founded in Austria-Hungary in 1913.
Is this man a key funder of “Labour Friends of Israel”?
South African-born Isaac Kaye headed a drugs company accused in a £400m defrauding of the NHS, bankrolled MPs, and founded the investment fund Israel Healthcare Ventures.
But has he been funding LFI? Here's what I found:🧵
Labour Friends of Israel refuses to reveal its donors, but Kaye was personally thanked at LFI dinners by Emily Thornberry in 2017, Joan Ryan in '18, Keir Starmer in '21, Rachel Reeves in '22, and Steve McCabe in '23.
McCabe described Kaye as a “great friend of Israel and LFI”.
Kaye is also President of the British Friends of Hebrew University.
At a 2022 BFHU event attended by Israeli ambassador Tzipi Hotovely, Kaye was praised by Israeli President Isaac Herzog.
Herzog: “there are no innocents in Gaza”.
Hotovely: “every school is a legitimate target”.
