As someone who quite successfully ran political campaigns before I got into punditry, no disrespect intended, but this partisan political take is badly flawed. Let me tell you why I respectfully disagree with Matt Walsh. 
The Republican Party, which "will [not] keep up the united front and defend their guys no matter what" controls the House, Senate, White House, and Supreme Court.

We control 41.5% of state trifectas, i.e. control of legislatures and the governor's mansion compared to 36.5% for the left.
The GOP has 27 governors to the Democrats 23.
The right is not a victim and we should stop whining about being victims.

Additionally, our success is our greater willingness to police ourselves. The Left failed to drive out the communists, the antisemites, the trans agitators, etc. Now, they're descended into madness.
The public has moved right because the Left does not police its own.

In short, we are winning because we do not behave like the Left, and should we start behaving like the Left, the American people will reject us.
