I scaled Fluently app from $48K → $5M+ ARR during this year (that’s 100x growth) 🚀
A big part of this came from short-form videos:
In just 200 days we got 1B+ views across TikTok/IG/YT with $0 ad spend!
Here’s my blueprint for hacking UGC growth on social media 👇
1. Quantity >> Quality
In UGC, you don’t know which video will work. We publish across dozens of accounts with different influencers.
Only ~10% take off, but those pay for all the “failures.” Think like a VC: portfolio approach > single bets.
2. Consistency wins
We post 2–3 videos daily. Non-negotiable. For 2 months, almost nothing worked. But every video = a test. We iterated actors, hooks, scripts…
Then one formula hit → scale happened. Lesson: distribution rewards patience + volume.
3. One video = four platforms
Every video goes to TikTok, IG, YouTube Shorts, and FB Reels. It’s the same content, just copy-pasted. Simple trick that can significantly increase the final reach.
4. Copy yourself
When 1 video spikes → immediately remake it with different influencers. That multiplies views 2x–10x without reinventing.
5. Watch trends like a hawk
Half of our work is just scrolling - seeing what is trending, what competitors are doing, what hooks perform now. Don’t invent formats before you’ve nailed the basics. Copy what works first, then build your own.
6. Small creators >> big influencers
Influencers with millions of followers are expensive and slow. We prefer creators with <5K followers. They’re hungrier, faster, and way more motivated.
7. Pay for views, not promises
We usually pay a small video fee and a performance-based bonus. No crazy upfront payments. If a video works, everyone wins. If not, no harm done.
8. Track the funnel, not likes
Don’t be fooled by views/likes. Use UTM links to track the full funnel: view → click → signup → revenue (yeah, that is super challenging to do)
We cut creators who overperform on views, but underdeliver on $$. Growth = measure what matters.
