All this L2 stage talk so I went over to L2Beat for the first time (names hidden to protect the centralized). Eye opening.
I appreciate the transparency – but the fact that no top L2 has reached Stage 2 suggests it’s impractical. Think about how much resource and brainpower some of these L2’s have? If they could, they would.
Disagree? Move to Stage 2 and I’ll admit I was wrong.
In the meantime, we’ll be over here building scalable L1’s that achieve the decentralization and trustlessness goals of Stage 2 – and shouting from the rooftops why it matters.
