Not even a huge fan of the Alien franchise, but the idea that David created THE Xenomorphs is the lamest, most nonsensical retcon to happen to any series ever. It's a thousand times worse than anything George Lucas ever did at least with regards to the overall plot implications.
So not only does that make the LV-426 derelict no more than <28 years old (retarded—it's ancient), but we're forced to assume an Engineer (whose civilization was implied to have gone extinct ~2000 years ago in Prometheus) decided to load David's creations into a Juggernaut ship➙
➙to use as weapons? Instead of their own proprietary black goo? Despite it obviously being implied the Xenomorphs are proprietary bioweapons created by the Engineers? Why would they use the creations of an android they think is an abomination even if made with their own tech?
So within <28 years of Alien an Engineer came out of nowhere and decided to use bioweapons created by a human android on Planet 4 to presumably bomb earth (or elsewhere?) but accidentally crashed on LV-426? However they'll decide to explain this would be an insane contrivance.
I actually don't mind the broad strokes of retconning ancient aliens into the Alien franchise. That in and of itself is fine. Also while a bit weird, I can accept David convergently making a Xenomorph or at least something similar to it by experimenting with the black goo.
But the idea that the OBVIOUSLY ANCIENT LV-426 derelict is carrying bioweapons SPECIFICALLY created by David WITHIN 28 YEARS of the Alien film is SO FUCKING GAY AND STUPID. Wrong, dumb, gay, obviously retarded. Ridley Scott has gone senile. There's no other explanation.
