The Princess of Wales has arrived at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire for its Armistice Day Service of Remembrance - it is the first time she has attended the service
The crowd stands for the arrival of the Princess of Wales before the service begins
The Last Post marks the start of a two-minute silence at 11am
The Princess of Wales is handed a wreath which she lays before appearing to take a moment of reflection
After the Service of Remembrance, The Princess visited the Memorial Wall, where she was introduced to Squadron Leader Beth Long and her two daughters Scarlett and Sophie - the family of the late Squadron Leader Mark Long, who died in a Spitfire crash in May 2024.
The Princess of Wales spent around five minutes speaking to the Long family in front of Mark Long’s name, which is the most recent to have been added to the memorial wall, before meeting Kate spoke to the family for around five minutes before meeting Bosnia veteran Johnny Hayes
The Princess of Wales held onto her hat in the wind as she made her way down the stairs and away from the memorial
She also chatted to Hayley Lawrence, Royal Army Medical Corps Veteran and Steve Cartwright, Royal Engineer Veteran
She walked back with them towards the Arboretum’s main building and waved and smiled at the crowds who waited to see her
The Princess of Wales walked back towards the main buildings at the Arboretum with as she chatted to them. During the chat, she touched Mr Cartwright's arm and laughed with the pair before she waved and smiled at the crowd who took photographs as she passed by.
The Princess of Wales made an unplanned stop to greet members of the public who had gathered to see her
Inside, the Princes of Wales met pupils from Newport Girls’ School and was handed a bunch of flowers

Speaking to Mr Spencer, who served in RAF Bomber Command and flew Lancaster Bombers, the Princess asked him what they were like to fly and shared that son George likes to make AirFix models and was a “big fan” of the Lancaster. She said: “He knows more about aircraft than I do.”
The Princess of Wales held 100-year-old veteran Bill Redston’s hand as she asked him for his top tips for keeping well - he said staying fit, and Kate was impressed to learn he had completed the London Marathon at 65 and the New York marathon at 66
The Princess of Wales meets the Arboretum’s poet-in-residence Arji Manuelpillai who read “A Sonnet For Us All” at the service
As she prepares to leave, the Princess of Wales meets crowds who waited to see her and appears to joke about having to hold her hat on in the wind as she shakes hands with people
The Princess of Wales says thank you and goodbye before one last wave to the crowds who clap as she gets back into the car and leaves the Arboretum
