One of the major topics raised around $AERO flows is that most of the revenue is "fake" - derived mainly from bribes. Here's why that statement is falsely advertised
▶️ The term "mainly" is overstretched - while its in early days @AerodromeFi used to get around 1/3 of its revenue in bribes - that number has dropped significantly to around 15% and will keep dropping - So revenue is "mainly" derived from exchanges, not bribes
▶️ The idea that bribe revenue is "fake" is extremely incorrect. In a traditional business, any form of revenue that isn't tied to the company's main product goes under "other". A much similar case here ⏬
▶️ A protocol projects bribes, aka "cost" from their perspective in order to strengthen their liquidity and earn $AERO, aka "revenue". On the other side of the equation, @AerodromeFi is offering protocols and users the main service, exchanges, and a secondary service, to earn emissions
If anyone tries to convince you that bribes should not be considered as annualized revenue and factored in when it comes to $AERO flows - bookmark this in order to show them how they must be viewed 🫡🛫
