Here’s some quick context on the Platforma App: The Doshka Foundation (@Doshka_F) is developing a comprehensive digital infrastructure for humanitarian operations — an all-in-one platform combining:

• a marketplace for supplies (like Amazon for humanitarian goods);

• fundraising and donor transparency (integrated campaign management);
• coordination tools (replacing the chaos of WhatsApp and Telegram);
• logistics management (inventory, shipping and delivery tracking);

• a social network for the humanitarian ecosystem (connecting all stakeholders).

Since July, the Doshka Foundation has progressed from the early development stage to the functional minimum viable product (MVP) stage. Combat medics can now order medical supplies directly from the frontline using the platform.

Where are things now? The MVP is fully functional.

It took a long time to find a good developer, but the foundation succeeded in finding a 42-year-old Ukrainian woman here in Kyiv who has been incredibly helpful.

And it works! For the past two to three weeks, soldiers and medics have been ordering equipment and supplies online directly from Doshka’s inventory in Kyiv. They just need to register with a simple email address and they can start ordering immediately.

Three new features are launching next week.

1. Donor reporting: donors can see exactly how their money was spent:

• Fundraiser summary showing amounts raised;
• Invoices for purchased equipment;
• Photos/videos of soldiers with the equipment.

All of this information is presented on a simple dashboard. This is easy for donors to read and saves NGOs time. There is one shareable link for all social media platforms.

2. Public Wishlists:

• Soldiers or medics can post what they need, including a link to the exact product from any website;
• They can also add comments, such as quantities and details;

• This creates a direct connection between those who need equipment and those who can buy it;
• Even if the product is not available in stock, an online list can be created (Amazon Wishlist-style);
• It is public, so no more hours need to be spent exchanging messages.

3. In-Kind Donations:

• Hospitals and suppliers in Europe upload details of what they can donate (in a similar way to Craigslist);
• NGOs are notified and, if they are interested, they organise the collection and transport of the donations within Europe;

• The @Doshka_F does not ship equipment from Europe that is not needed or that is cheaper to buy here;
• Major equipment donors can track everything from the donation to the delivery.

The goal is to save everyone time, money and energy across the entire ecosystem, so that we can deliver more aid faster while avoiding duplication, waste, bottlenecks and unnecessary intermediaries.

There is maximum transparency: Every monetary donation shows the invoice alongside photos of the people who received the equipment. Every equipment donation is fully trackable.

This encourages large public institutions such as fire stations, hospitals and nursing homes to donate, as they can see the entire chain.

That is where the Doshka Foundation stands. It is looking for €2,000 per month for the next two months and double that amount for the subsequent two months. So, it is definitely not a huge sum of money.

The foundation only has one developer to pay at €15 an hour (5–6 hours a week), so it is clearly not being greedy and is saving on everything to stick to a tight budget.
