The FBI has arrested Brian Cole Jr. of Woodbridge, VA for the pipe bomb incident that took place the eve of January 6th 2021. Let's do Open Source Intelligence #OSINT using Publicly Available Information #PAI to uncover the digital breadcrumbs of this suspect, who is innocent until proven guilt in a court of law. Thread 🧵

I have identified at least two email address that appear to be that of the suspect: bjcole****@gmail.com & colebrian****@gmail.com (redacted). Both of these emails have historic accounts that show the same birthdate as reported of 07-12-1995.

Interestingly, his email colebrian****@gmail.com has been deleted entirely and his email bjcole****@gmail.com has not been logged into since March 27 of 2023.

Looking at other breached dark web information (only partially redacted due to Public's Interest) shows a pattern of patriotic (USA, patriotism, America) and military like (Delta, Delta1) passwords and usernames across the web.

I_am_Hot_4_Cock appears to have been his username associated to his email colebrian****@gmail.com that was involved in the 2016 hacking of the Adult Friend Finder sex and swingers hook-up site.

Brian Cole has at least two accounts on Gaia Online, an anime-themed social networking and forums-based website that launched in 2003. It was once extremely popular, especially among teens and young adults, for its forums, customizable avatars, and virtual economy based on earning and spending virtual currency.

The suspect appears to be an avid gamer. His emails are registered to various games and accounts including Evony, NextGen, Game Tuts, Gaia Online (2x), EA, MPGH game cheats etc. These avatars in the image are for his Gaia Online accounts.

I was able to acquire 5 older IP addresses associated with his two email addresses which included locations in Washington DC, Glenmont Maryland, China and Canada.

Brian Cole Jr. was looking for pen pals online sometime before 2015 when his account was part of a data breach.

Brian Cole is clearly an avid gamer and into things like fantasy and anime. He had an account with Dueling Network which is a YuGiOh simulator.

Brian Cole has been using the Delta moniker across gaming websites for over a decade.

On June 09, 2012 he created the Twitter account @Revivalist4USA

Appears crime runs in the family. His sister Brittany Tierra Cole has numerous violations and arrests.

His brother Brandon Marcus Cole appears to also be a multiple felon, too.

Using open sources, I came across an extensive traffic/criminal record for father Brian Jerome Cole.

His father Brian Jerome Cole, 13 years ago on YouTube talking about being a bail agent:

His father Brian Jerome Cole appears to be, maybe ironically, the President of Free U Bail Bonds.

His father's email b*****@msn.com (redacted) is the registrar to the following eighty-three ball bonds domains:

According to open sources, his father had/has a 2019 federal tax lien of $266,585.

And another one for $48,900 in 2016.

And another one for $30,947 in 2015.
