In 2011, former Taliban fighter Munir Farooqi, from Longsight in the Gorton and Denton constituency, was given four life sentences for preparing terrorist acts, soliciting murder, and disseminating terrorist literature.

Nahella Ashraf supported him. Hannah Spencer should clearly and unequivocally denounce any support for terrorist supporters within her campaign. That might be tricky in the Green Party…Image

The British Muslim Trust, which receives £1m a year in taxpayer funding, now outflanks the Muslim Council of Britain as an extremist outfit.

In recent weeks, it has featured some of Britain’s most fundamentalist politicians in its promotional material, including Humza Yousaf, Afzal Khan, Shockat Adam, and Iqbal Mohamed. It needs to be shut down. 🧵1/
