NEW: This morning I investigated resources posted in an anti-ICE Signal group. I quickly found this disturbing link detailing the origins of these highly organized anti-ICE networks.
CrimethInc is a private-donor funded site with a known history of fueling extreme activism. They clearly state that the goal of these anti-ICE Signal groups is to increase confrontation and coordination in order to facilitate illegal harassment and obstruction of ICE agents.
They don’t even try to hide it!
I’ve documented more findings in the thread below. 👇🏼
Counter-surveillance has long been a critical element of their mission. Protesters and observers meticulously stalk and record ICE agents’ vehicles while maintaining a comprehensive searchable database of license plates.
This database is actively weaponized to target and illegally harass federal agents.
In the aftermath of two tragic protester deaths it is incredibly unsettling to see this extremist site aggressively promote ‘infectious courage’ while discouraging ‘overcautiousness.’
All while praising protesters who ‘use their bodies’ and violently attack federal agents.
This link was posted as a resource in an anti-ICE Signal group intended for SCHOOL PARENTS.
These watch networks are clearly funded and driven by high-profile agitators but I’m telling you…do not underestimate the number of normie anti-ICE parents and community members who are being exploited into these groups via weaponized empathy and a constant stream of media propaganda.
Protesters and observers really need to know that engaging in any of the reckless activities pushed by this site SUBSTANTIALLY increases the risk of tragic outcomes.
🧵This 2024 federal funding audit from the WA State Auditor exposes an astonishing failure of accountability with a clear and persistent pattern of unauditable payments to the Department of Children, Youth, and Families totaling nearly $416 million dollars.
The findings are significant and also highlight over $76 million in additional questioned costs.
🚩“For the fourth year in a row, we are questioning all child care payments from the Child Care and Development Fund at the [DCYF].”
🚩”[DCYF] did not ensure payments to providers were allowable and properly supported, and did not comply with federal reporting requirements.”
🚩”[DCYF] did not comply with requirements to ensure payments to child care providers were allowable.”
The report does note corrective actions to resolve these issues with a timeline to improve accountability. But here’s the bottom line…similar findings have been REPEATING every fiscal year for at least the past four years.
This is completely unacceptable.
Remember, these tax dollars belong to ALL Americans, not just Washingtonians. We all need to push for accountability and transparency on how our money is spent.
More details and sources linked below.
I’ve highlighted the key findings here in red. This is a complete failure of oversight.
Among the fourteen agencies with findings, DCYF was issued the most findings by far.
