The Nordic and the Mediterranean Race's common Palaeolithic origin/specification from the Cro-Magnids. Thus the Mediterranean Race did not come from Asia or Africa as some claim.
Eickstedt describes the appearance of a Central European mixed belt that disrupts the original Paleolithic continuity. While the North remains a center of unrest (migration and struggle), a broad belt ofAlpine round-heads begins to expand.
The original Cro-Magnon stock was decomposed and absorbed by the intrusive brachycranials (Alpines). The older purer types were forced into retreat areas as the more sedentary, round-headed peasant types filled the fertile loess clearings.
