While I agree for promoting local sustainable entrepreneurship respect to local lang & culture, resorting to ILP is dangerous for National Integration.
1. We can’t make Indians from other states feel foreigners in their own country
2. Capital won’t move if u place restrictions—Economic stagnation 1/n
3. Majority of the labour comes from outside– u can’t replace them with a parasitic & lazy population smothered with freebies
4. Red tapism seeps in all the national/strategic projects.
5. Is Our “one state, many worlds” motto which speaks of diversity is a mere slogan? – No, and I’m not even talking about revenue loss with resultant low tourist footfall 2/n
6. Amount of administrative burden it will impose on state to create checkpoints, man it 24/7- who will bear the burden? Even if we manage resources, who will fight crime —primary responsibility of police? 3/n
7. Not to forget our bureaucracy’s rent seeking behaviour & harassing travellers through bribes.
8. Regional chauvinism will only create domino effect with retaliatory measures from others!
ILP isn’t an answer for a state’s shortcomings,misplaced priorities & appeasement politics
