Money doesn't change people; a lack of principles and character does:
When you are poor, you constantly have something to say about the way rich people spend their money. Once you are rich, you somehow magically forget about what you used to say. That's a very common pattern.
But it doesn't have to be that way. Better finances mean more options, but at some point in life, you should realize that a healthy lifestyle that nurtures a happy version of yourself and meaningful relationships with others doesn't cost as much money as you thought.
