Someone is selling a manor estate in Burgundy with a private river, waterfalls and a natural swimming pond. 2 hours from Paris.

Two buildings arranged around a courtyard, 1,700m² (18,298 sq ft) in total, 12 bedrooms, an artist's studio, stables and 7 hectares (17 acres) of land.

Inside there's a music room with a piano, a library in the tower, a writing room, and a dining room built around a fireplace large enough to roast a whole animal. Herons and wild ducks live on the property year round. The river has a depth of 3 metres and you can swim in it all summer.

Near Vézelay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Asking price: €1.39M ($1.6M).

The French sure do know about living well. A river on your grounds, your own land to walk, swimming in summer, dinner outside.

What's the French word for this kind of life?Image

Everyone wants a home in Southern Italy but not everyone wants to get their hands dirty and renovate.

Here's one ready for you: 350m² (3,767 sq ft) in Sicily, minutes from the beach. €318k ($369k) 🧵 Image
Image
Image
Built in the early 1900s. 350m² (3,767 sq ft) across three floors, currently divided into 3 independent units - each with its own kitchen and bathroom. Plus an internal courtyard with parking.

The top floor opens onto a panoramic terrace with views of Mount Etna, the Ionian Sea, and across to Calabria. There are also 2 unrenovated rooms on the second floor that retain original period details - bonus space if you want to expand.

Live in one unit and rent out the other two, or convert the whole building into a boutique guesthouse? What would you do with it?Image

Nunziata di Mascali sits in the hills above the Ionian coast, a historic hamlet with Greek and Roman roots. You're minutes from the beaches and 30 minutes from Taormina.

Catania airport is about 45 minutes away, and the area is surrounded by olive groves and citrus orchards. Image

If this Modernista palace was in Barcelona, it would cost €3M+ easy.

But because it's in Borriana (Valencia), it just hit the market for €180k ($209k).

~600m² of history, 1920s ironwork, and 12 bedrooms.

(more info+pics in 🧵) Image

The architecture is pure Valencian Art Nouveau.

~600m² spread over three floors with a central lightwell that floods the whole house with sun.

12 beds/4 baths, and details you can't easily replicate nowadays..original hydraulic tiles, stained glass, and hand carved joinery.

To me, it screams boutique hotel or co-working space. Imagine hosting tech hackathons or artist retreats here.

It needs work, but the bones are incredible.Image

Located in Borriana (Castellón), 45 mins north of Valencia city and minutes from the beach.

So why the grandeur? Oranges.

In the early 1900s, this was the citrus Capital. Wealthy merchants built these Orange Palaces to flex their fortune.

Curious to hear..if you grabbed this, what’s the plan? Boutique hotel, co-working space or just a massive private home?Image

300+ days of sun a year. Total privacy. Yet just 20 minutes from the beach.

4-bed country villa in Alicante.

Not a bad price either: €349k ($412k) 🧵 Image
Image
The furniture would do well with a refresh but it does come with A/C.

Outside, you get a pool, a shaded gazebo, and mature fruit trees on a private 2,500 m² (~0.62 acre) plot. Image

The "non-obvious" advantage here is the location.

You're in Catral, a thriving town known for its authentic Spanish culture and surrounded by citrus and olive groves.

- 20 minutes from the famous golden sand dunes of Guardamar del Segura beach (pic.2).
- 20 minutes from the historic city of Elche, a UNESCO World Heritage site with Europe's largest palm grove (pic.3).
- 30 minutes from Alicante airport.

It's the perfect base to enjoy the real Costa Blanca, with easy access to countryside, beach, and city life.Image

The property sits on 3.1 acres in Vélez de Benaudalla, Granada. Pool with mountain views, covered terraces for morning coffee, and enough space to park 4 cars. Image

This 18th-century Italian villa has sat quietly on Lake Pusiano for centuries. Now it's finally on the market.

€950k ($1.1M) gets you the estate, the lake access, and 3 acres of parkland 🧵 Image

Villa Arnaboldi isn't your typical renovation project. This is a preserved baroque estate with those iconic three-arched porticoes and original 19th-century courtyard.

The main villa spans 561 sqm (6,038 sq ft) with 11 rooms of pure Italian elegance. Image
Image
Image
Inside you're greeted by original wooden beams, crystal chandeliers, and period details that have survived centuries.

The interiors remain authentic to the era - this is what old Italian money looked like. Image
