Why does the western “left” not get this they linked the Black struggle of the 60’s to LGBT liberation. In order to make an individuals identity the focus of politics and erase concrete material gains for the working class! All that was gained was gay marriage. What is next? 
What’s next is more turning inward to identity ex. trans 🏳️⚧️ and fat people and furries and any kind of alternative way people choose to identify. When this is the parameters to wage revolutionary political struggle then this is what you get.
If you do not make it a collective struggle with material demands and a mass line. It is just vague phrases like liberation and freedom with virtue signaling symbols 🏳️⚧️ that all placate individuals whims and fancies!
Just as the summary states the modern “revolutionary” activist. They have no material goals they just fight constantly for different facets of individual’s identity! No pressure put on the establishment and a constant search for society’s most oppressed subject!
While simultaneously fracturing down to even smaller minority groups. First gay then even smaller trans. What is next because even smaller minorities exist and are needing of liberation. Furries disabled fat. Taking this to it’s logical conclusion.
This will lead u to wage class struggle 4 the most oppressed subject the one individual superior to all based on the oppression they faced. A POC trans furry fat disabled homeless individual. If u don’t spend all your life advocating for them how are u a revolutionary?
This is where the logic takes you by linking political struggle with the nebulous of individual identity. You abandon the collective working class for the pure ideal revolutionary subject. It’s time we throw away bourgeois parameters and tools created in universities.
We need to use our scientific Marxist tools forged in the fire of real historical experience! To crush the imperialist state. Giving an actual concrete reality to the American people in the form of a state Dictatorship of the People! This is our finish line as Communists!
