A 🧵 on Bhopal’s Ajmer-like sex & blackmail racket:

1. Farhan, a BTech student, befriended Hindu girls, flattered them into relationships, took them to a room, made physical relations, clicked nudes and recorded sex videos for blackmailing.

2. Farhan promised marriage if girls converted to Islam.

Since 2022, Farhan, Ali, & Sahil ran this racket until arrested. Others namely Saad, Nabeel, Abrar abscond.

Three women (18, 21, 23) came forward after the youngest, a minor when exploited, sought police help.

3. The youngest was groomed, raped by Farhan & others back in 2022, recently she was forced at knifepoint to convert, photographed nude.

She was asked to get converted after being raped saying, "Ab hamare beech sab ho gya hai, bas tum Muslim ban jao.."

As Jharkhand goes to polls today, our ground report unveils some deeply troubling realities affecting the state’s social and cultural fabric. Through our investigation at @eOrganiser, we uncovered the widespread menace of missionary conversions, alongside recorded confessions of deliberate strategies by the Muslim community—marrying tribal women to gain access to reserved electoral seats and acquire tribal land.

Amidst the many challenges plaguing the state, the most alarming issues remain the aggressive push of missionary and Islamic conversions, the illegal settlement of Rohingyas, and the blatant misuse of tribal identity (asmita) by those who claim to represent the community.

The western part of Jharkhand bears the brunt of extensive missionary conversion campaigns, while the eastern regions are witnessing growing Islamic activities, creating a fragmented state grappling with threats to its tribal ethos and heritage.

The #JamiaMilliaIslamia Conversion Nexus:

I have been reporting cases from Jamia Millia Islamia where individuals have acknowledged being forced to convert to Islam by both teaching and non-teaching staff of the institution. In the three cases I reported, the allurements ranged from promises of promotion, an easier life, to the concepts of heaven and hell in Islam.

Now, a fact-finding committee has submitted a 64-page report detailing the depositions of 27 witnesses, who either worked at or were former students of Jamia Millia Islamia.

Here's what they said:

1. CW-1, an Asst Professor living separately from her husband, noted that this was common knowledge. However, faculty members & Ph.D. scholars began suggesting she convert to Islam, claiming it was safer for women.
2. CW-2 was labeled a "kaffir" in the Deputy Registrar's office. Other scholars and teachers at JMI often objected to his traditional Hindu attire like kurta-pajama, tilak on his forehead, or kalawa on his wrist, dismissing these practices as 'Pakhand' (hypocrisy).
3. CW-3, a teaching faculty at JMI, reported that Professor X, a senior lecturer in her department, would threaten her with rape, acid attacks, or even death if she did not convert to Islam.
4. CW-4, another teaching faculty at JMI, mentioned that shortly after joining as an Assistant Professor, Dr. X handed him a copy of the Koran and began pressuring him to discuss and study Islam, frequently checking on his progress.
5. CW-6, part of the administrative staff, stated that he was given a book in Hindi, Urdu, and English about Islamic teachings shortly after joining.
6. CW-7, an ex-student, recounted that his Computer Graphics teacher Y, would counsel him to adopt Muslim practices, often using humor to belittle his Hindu practices when discussing graphics issues.
7. CW-8, a teaching faculty at JMI, noted that he was the only non-Muslim in his department when JMI was a Central University.
8. CW-9, a former security guard at JMI, was approached by X & Y to convert to Islam, with promises of marriage for his daughter into a Muslim family. He faced harassment after refusing.
9. CW-10, an ex-student, became a target after sharing a post of Prime Minister Modi on social media. He was ridiculed for his dressing sense, wearing a kalawa, and was mocked for his adherence to Hindu customs.
10. CW-11, a staff member, reported that after six months, his Muslim colleagues suggested he convert to Islam, arguing that scheduled castes have no place in Hindu society but would gain honor in Islam.
11. CW-12, another former student, who followed Jainism, mentioned that there were efforts at JMI to convert him to Islam during his postgraduate studies.
12. CW-13, a staff member, was encouraged to join in Namaz and to greet others with 'Salam Valekum' instead of 'Namaste'.
13. CW-14, an ex-student, recalled how during a cultural event where patriotic songs were played, individuals from Batla House and local JMI professors intervened, stopping the event and threatening a fatwa against such activities in JMI
14. CW-15, an ex-student deposed that Tabligi Jamat people used
to visit the hostel and tried to convince hostlers to adopt Islam and reject Hinduism
15. CW-16 a PhD student, stated that
very often religious taunts were made on him.
16. CW-17, a Muslim employee, testified that one of his
friends
married Hindu girl her without consent of her parents. Then he learnt that an organization Dar-e-Arqam in Batla House had a centre to help muslim boys who married hindu girls and provided them protection and legal help.
17. CW-18, a student at Jamia, shared that teachers would give less marks to non-muslim
students and told them that if they convert to Islam, there will be more peace and prosperity in their life.
18. CW-19 is a student of JMI who testifed that muslim students would often force non-muslims to read Quran & Hadees.
19. CW-20 an ex-student shared he was given pocket Koran & asked to do Jamat.

The woman in video is Gulfasha Begum. She is telling about her husband Amir, who recently presented an affidavit to DM stating, he wants to embrace Hindu dharma & change his name to Amit Maheshwari

Since 2014, Amir is having an affair with Neha Maheshwari (name changed, surname retained).

Gulfasha said, 'Amir hates Hindus, he does not even eats stuff brought from their shop, how can be become a Hindu all of a sudden? He is doing all of this, to trap the other woman'

As of now Gulfasha filed a case against Amir and thanked Yogi Ji for the prompt action.

Rizwan Khan a native of Kashmir's Poonch, moved to Uttar Pradesh & Bihar for work

Rizwan worked as a security guard, first in a meat factory in UP & then at a frozen supplier company in Bihar.

He too wished to become a Mujahid. He draws his inspiration from Burhan Wani, Zakir Musa, Sameer Tiger etc. His social media account is filled with radical posts.

This week, I met this Jain family whose son joined Hizb-ut-Tahrir (HuT) & has been booked for converting hundreds of people to Islam. The Madhya Pradesh ATS suspects terror links as well.

Sourabh Jain became Mohd Salim Jain almost 10 year's ago. His parents live in Bhopal.

Sourabh, who has done his studies in pharmaceuticals, from Hubbali Karnataka, was introduced to Islam by one of his friends Kamal Khan.
