Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nāfi'an, wa rizqan tayyiban, wa 'amalan mutaqabbalan.
"O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure sustenance, and accepted deeds."
Remember this du'a especially:
Du’a for the day of Arafah
None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, Who has no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things. (Sunan al-Tirmidhi 3585)

Imam Malik was sitting in the Prophet’s Mosque, as was his habit, narrating the hadiths of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with the students gathered around him listening.
Suddenly, a caller shouted: A great elephant has entered the city!
The people of Madinah had never seen an elephant before, as Madinah is not a habitat for elephants.
All the students went out to see the elephant, leaving Malik behind - except for Yahya ibn Yahya al-Laythi.
The Prophet ﷺ said, "When nightfalls, then keep your children close to you, for the devil spread out then. An hour later you can let them free; and close the gates of your house (at night), and mention Allah's Name thereupon,
and cover your utensils, and mention Allah's Name thereupon, (and if you don't have something to cover your utensil) you may put across it something (e.g. a piece of wood etc. (Sahih al-Bukhari 3280)
“And We did not send before you except men to whom We revealed.” (Qur’an 12:109)
This statement is descriptive, not comparative. It does not mean men are spiritually superior, nor that women are less beloved or less capable before Allah.
To understand this, we first need to understand what prophethood actually is.
In Islam, prophethood is not simply spiritual closeness. It is a public mission carrying immense responsibility, exposure, and hardship.
We’re living in a world that changes people overnight, where hearts, intentions, and situations can shift without warning. But Allah never told us to walk through life unprotected.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“When a man goes out of his house and says:
‘Bismillah, tawakkaltu ‘ala Allah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah,’
it is said to him: ‘You are guided, defended, and protected.’ And Shaytan moves away from him.” (Jami‘ at-Tirmidhi 3426)
