The birth of the cosmos requires this initial symmetry to break... Genesis mirrors this through a profound act of cosmic division: "Elohim created the heaven and the earth", suddenly, primordial unity fractures into two polar opposites: Spirit and Matter.

Let’s give these polarities algebraic values: (a) as the active principle (Spirit) and (b) as the receptive one (Matter)... On its own, pure dualism is highly volatile; two opposing forces without a bridge breed sterile conflict and chaos.

Genesis solves this immediately when a mediator enters the frame: "the Spirit of God hovered over the face of the waters"... This third element steps in to relate a to b, beautifully transforming a tense, conflicting duality into a perfectly balanced triad.

In the Heliopolitan creation theology, before any triad emerges, there is Atum, the "All" and the "Nothing"... Atum represents the primordial, unmanifested monad, existing alone in the dark waters of Nun, containing all potential within absolute symmetry.
