I prayed Tahajjud for months and felt nothing. Then one night, I didn’t ask for anything. And something changed.
My Tahajjud had slowly become just requests: rizq, marriage, open doors, relief from anxiety.

Wake up. Pray. Ask.
Leave.

Like I was turning sujood into a checklist.
Talk… and walk away.
One night I was exhausted.
I finished my du’a… and stayed down.

No words. Just silence in sujood.

And for the first time in a long time - it didn’t feel empty.

Not a voice. Not a sign.
Just stillness.

A calm I can’t really explain.
I later learned scholars call it:

Sukūn fis-sujūd - stillness in prostration.

The Prophet ﷺ used to stay so long in sujood that his companions would worry for him. (Muslim 482)

Because sujood isn’t just for asking.
It’s for being close.
And in sujood, du’as are answered in ways you don’t always notice in the moment:

sometimes by giving you what you asked,

sometimes by removing what would’ve harmed you,

sometimes by replacing it with something better.
Don’t underestimate crying to Allah in the dark, that’s where provision begins to move.

Don’t underestimate a single sujood at night, it can rewrite your entire life.

After your next prayer…
don’t rush the end.

Stay in sujood a little longer.

There is a du’a so powerful that the Prophet ﷺ called it the master of all supplications.

Most Muslims have never intentionally memorised it.

(Bukhari 6306)

We recite Al-Fatihah at least 17 times a day. But do we realize that right at the 5th verse, there is a “grammatical shift” that Allah deliberately placed? And the reason behind it… can completely change the way we pray forever. Image
Normally, when we talk about someone in the third person (“He”), it should remain consistent as “He”.

Example: “He is diligent. He always wakes up early. You suddenly came?” (Why did it suddenly switch?)

Strange, right? But the Qur’an changes this rule through Iltifāt (a shift in perspective).
In the first 3 verses, we praise Allah in the third person (absent reference).

All praise is for Allah…
He is the Most Merciful…
He is the Master of the Day of Judgment…

We are speaking about Allah from a distance. Praising the Great King who is “there”.

Recite this du’a and be among the people of Jannah

Things to keep private in marriage as per
Prophetﷺ.
1. Intimate relations (bedroom matters)

The Prophetﷺ strongly condemned those who disclose private marital intimacy to others.

2. Personal weaknesses of your spouse

Don't expose faults, habits, or shortcomings.
3. Arguments and conflicts

Avoid sharing every disagreement with outsiders.

4. Secrets shared in trust

Anything told in confidence must remain protected.

Many people wonder:

“Why does Allah delay certain things we long for, like marriage?”

The reason could change the way you view every delay in your life.
Because we assume:

If something is good → it should come quickly.
If it’s halal → it should be easy.
If we make du’a → it should happen immediately.

But Allah’s timing has never been rushed by our loneliness.
At first, that’s hard to accept because:

Loneliness doesn’t feel like love.
Delay doesn’t feel like mercy.
Silence doesn’t feel like care.

But then you realize:
Not every delay is a denial.

You know you are getting attached to the Dunya when…
1. You don’t plan your day around Salah times.

2. A day or two passes without opening the Qur’an because you are “too busy.”

3. You care too much about people’s opinions of you.

4. Your main focus becomes accumulating wealth and material gain.
5. You argue when reminded that something you’re used to may be wrong.

6. You constantly delay good deeds, thinking “I’ll do it tomorrow.”

7. The lifestyle of celebrities and the rich starts to impress you.

8. You seek attention and enjoy being seen as important.
