Why do you feel restless after watching p*rn? Your body may enjoy it. But your soul suffers. When the soul weakens, life begins to lose its direction and barakah.
P*rn is a silent addiction.

It starts as “just once.”
Then it becomes a habit.

Soon, worship feels heavy.

Salah feels empty.
Du’a feels distant.
Dhikr becomes neglected.
The Qur’an becomes difficult to read.
Allah says:

“Tell the believing men to lower their gaze…” (Qur’an 24:30)

Because the eyes are a gateway to the heart.

What repeatedly enters the eyes eventually affects the heart.
Many people ask,

“Why does my life feel so restricted even though I work hard?”

Sometimes the issue isn’t a lack of effort.

It may be sins that quietly block barakah.
One of them is failing to guard the gaze.
Sin is like a small fire.

If it is fed in secret, it slowly burns:

• Your Salah
• Your relationship with Allah
• Your peace.
• Your focus.
• Your family relationships.
• Even the barakah in your rizq.

Because every sin leaves a mark on the heart.
P*rn also makes it harder to feel content.

One of the keys to barakah is a heart that is grateful and content (qana’ah).

The more the heart is filled with desires, the harder it becomes to appreciate Allah’s blessings.
This is why the righteous took guarding their gaze so seriously.

A guarded gaze → A pure heart.
A pure heart → Sweeter worship.
Sweeter worship → A life filled with barakah.

You only need 3 questions to audit your whole day. Most Muslims fail all 3.
Every night, you replay your day in your head. Most people call it overthinking. The Sunnah turns it into accountability.

The Companions (RA) would hold themselves accountable every day.

Here are 3 questions to ask yourself every night:
1. Did I pray every salah on time?

Not, “Did I pray?”
Not, “Did I make them up?”
On time.

The fard prayers are the foundation of a Muslim’s day and the most basic accountability check.

If you can’t answer yes to this one, fix this first.

I asked Muslims who became more practicing later in life what finally changed them.

They all mentioned one thing.
Here’s what hit me:
Every single one of them said it wasn’t a lecture. It wasn’t a sheikh. It wasn’t even Ramadan.

It was a moment where life humbled them so hard they had nowhere to turn except Allah.

Pain was their door to deen
One said he lost everything his job, his relationship, his confidence.

He picked up the Qur’an at 2am with no intention of finding peace.
He never put it down again

“By Allah, almost every du’a I’ve made has been answered. Only one remains.”

Imagine hearing someone say this. Wouldn’t you immediately ask:

“What’s your secret?”
There’s a famous story about Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal.

One night, he was hosted by a baker. While making bread, the baker kept saying istighfar over and over again.

Imam Ahmad noticed and asked him about it.
The baker replied:

“Almost every du’a I’ve ever made has been answered. Only one hasn’t.”

“What is it?” asked Imam Ahmad.

“To meet Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal.”

Imam Ahmad then said:

“I am Ahmad ibn Hanbal. By Allah, Allah has brought me to you.”

How Khadijah (RA) Won the Heart of the Prophet ﷺ

(This isn’t just a love story. It’s a legacy.)
Let’s talk about something that changes how you see love, dignity, and femininity.

Today people say:
Be less available.
Play hard to get.
Stay emotionally distant.

But Khadijah (RA) did none of that.
And she was honored in ways no one else was.
1. She was independent, but never arrogant.

A successful businesswoman in Makkah - yet her strength never erased her softness.

There’s a surah in the Qur’an that was revealed specifically for your worst days.

Most people only read it in Ramadan.
Surah Al-Inshirah - Only 8 verses. Deep comfort.
Allah says:

أَلَمْ نَشْرَحْ لَكَ صَدْرَكَ
Did We not expand for you your chest? (94:1)

Allah is speaking directly to the Prophet ﷺ a man who carried the weight of an entire Ummah.

And He’s reminding him:
I already equipped you for this.
وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ
And We removed from you your burden. (94:2)

“Wizr” means a crushing weight.

Allah is saying: I already lifted what was breaking you.

What feels permanent may already be eased by Allah - you just haven’t felt it yet.

I didn’t realize how serious missing Fajr was until I read how Prophet ﷺ described it.

It changed the way I see that one prayer.
The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The most difficult prayers for the hypocrites are ‘Isha and Fajr.” (Sahih Bukhari)

Think about that carefully.

Out of the five daily prayers, two were singled out.

The ones prayed in darkness.
When the body wants sleep the most.
Fajr especially carries weight.

Allah says:
“Indeed, the Qur’an at dawn is witnessed.” (Qur’an 17:78)

Scholars explain that the angels of the night and the angels of the day both witness Fajr.

Two groups of angels.
One prayer.
