"I don't want to marry you b/c of your past" is not equivalent to "I don't forgive you."
This may seem obvious to a Christian, but to a modern antinomian, it's anything but. Here's why: ⤵️
Scripture tells us that all men have sinned and still sin. To this, soft antinomians add the false belief that all sins are equal.
But when everything is sinful, nothing is. That is the false gospel of the soft antinomian--their only source of hope & comfort.⤵️
However, this false belief that all men sin equally doesn't expunge human nature, which is compelled to weigh good vs evil.
To satisfy this need, soft antinomians invent a new sin: judging one sin as worse than another. This, they ironically believe, is the worst sin of all.⤵️
So say a man judges that a wanton would make a worse wife than a virgin b/c of divorce risk & impaired bonding, and a worse mother for his children b/c half the town would know their mom's character.
To antinomians, that's a "real" sin b/c it says the wanton's sins are worse.⤵️
And so soft antinomians adopt the mantle of the Pharisees, neglecting the commandments of God for the traditions of men and hypocritically judging others by standards they themselves fail.
They are twisted in ALL their ways; parsing modern sexual chaos is just a popular subject.

Jesus condemned the Pharisees for relaxing God's Commandments (Matt 5:19-20), just like when our modern teachers relax God's strict commandments against fornication and divorce or dismiss His instructions to be fruitful and multiply.⤵️
Jesus condemned the Pharisees for burdening people with useless and ungodly rules (Matt 23:24) like modern teachers who forbid personal self-defense, forbid national borders, or forbid young men from recoiling from a prospective wife's unchastity.⤵️
Given all the slander thrown at Christian Nationalism lately, I think it's well worth a 🧵to clarify the matter (as I see it.)
1) Christian Nationalism is a political ideology informed by the Christian faith, not a religion informed by political ideology.
2) The Church does not need Christian Nationalism for her wellbeing. Nations need Christian Nationalism for their wellbeing.
3) Christian Nationalists understand nation as meaning a people who share common ancestry, religious heritage, language, culture, and history together. Nation is not synonymous with country or with state.
Flesh is essential, for there is no such thing as a man without flesh. Likewise, my flesh is essential to me. If you strike my face, you are striking *me*, not some flesh I happen to attached to. If you kill my flesh, you kill me. 2/6
And this essential flesh is necessarily a flesh with characteristics. Though hair could be many colors, it must be some color or it wouldn't be hair. There is no skin without color, nor a face without features, nor a body without dimensions. 3/6
🧵You know what, I think this deserves clarity in exactly why so many *Christians* deserve so much contempt over this.
The entire idea behind vaccines is that they simulate infection in a benign way in order to provoke a natural immune reaction that provides ongoing protection.
In other words, acquired immunity is the gold standard which vaccines attempt (with varying degrees of success) to reach. There was never any reason whatsoever to expect that acquired immunity to Covid worked differently. This was 100% common knowledge from day 1.
I had Covid early--before any vaccines were even available. But you fanatics tried to coerce me into taking an experimental medicine I had absolutely no reason to take.
