1. Set a timer for 5–10 minutes. 2. Focus on one task. 3. When you get distracted, notice it and come back to the task. 4. If you get derailed completely, reset the timer and start over.
Each time you have a successful session, increase the time by 5 minutes.
2/ Break up with your phone:
You don't need to switch to a flip phone.
But you do need to set some boundaries.
Try:
- Setting limits on distracting apps
- Charging it outside your bedroom
- Putting it in grayscale mode
- Keeping it out of reach while working
