/n THREAD: "How Insane can the Electoral College Method get?"
We all Know that @HillaryClinton won the Popular Vote by 2.9 Million but ....
/n .... how much larger of a margin could have Hillary won the popular vote and STILL lose the Election? Well, I got my calculator out ....
/n ...and did the calculations. The final result is stunning.Keeping all the States to the actual winner and .....
/n ... and using the actual # of total votes cast in the 2016 election, I have calculated the extreme max difference of voted Clinton ....
/n ..could have had still lost. @HillaryClinton Could have had 89,742,410 total votes to @realDonaldTrump 38,200,543 and still lost! ....
/n .. @HillaryClinton could have had 51,541,867 Million more votes than Trump and still lost by the exact same Electoral College Margin ...
/n .. The numbers are MATHEMATICALLY Possible but very unlikely. While unlikely, the point is that the Electoral College system ......
/n ... makes a crazy scenario like this mathematically possible. 89 million x 38 Million and Trump would still be President.....
/n .. How did I get to these numbers? Simple. Each State Trump won I gave him Half the Votes PLUS one...giving him the Win for that State..
/n.. The rest of the votes in those States went to Hillary. In the States that Hillary Won I gave her every single vote...all of them...
/n... sure in real life that impossible....but Mathematically it is. When adding all the votes Hillary would have 51+ Million more votes..
/12..& still lose. That is how insane the EC system is.She won by 3 Million but as Math shows could have won by 51 million & still lost.END
