Trump has admitted on tape to sexually harassing & assaulting women & underage girls. Al Franken resigned for much less. We can't accept a sexual predator in the Oval Office. #TrumpToo 1/9
(Note: I’ve worked on these kinds of campaigns throughout my professional life & often write op/eds, editorial board memos, LTEs, etc, for progressive causes. This is a thing I know about.) 2/9
Here’s a list of all the women who have accused Trump of sexual misconduct so far #TrumpToo 3/9…
We the people must call on our elected representatives to take a stand, regardless of party, against sexual assault. Every day Trump remains in office is a slap in the face of all American women. #TrumpToo 4/9
Calling Senators & US Reps is pretty simple – you call the main Congressional switchboard, follow prompts, & speak with a staffer. You’ll find phone numbers & a sample script at the end of this thread. #TrumpToo 5/9
(Side note: You don’t actually have to say much – “I’m calling to tell the Senator/Representative that s/he must call on Trump to resign over accusations of sexual assault” is enough) #TrumpToo 6/9
When you call Congress, always be polite & to the point. Staffers will record your call, but may not pass on a lot of detail. Always thank them! #TrumpToo 7/9
ONLY CALL YOUR OWN SENATORS & REPRESENTATIVE. If you’re not sure who they are (No shame! Many people aren’t!), look them up at & #TrumpToo 8/9
Main Congressional switchboard: 202-224-3121; follow prompts
If DC lines are busy, call in-state offices!
In-state contact info can be found at &
Here’s a sample script #TrumpToo 9/9
PS I kind of used my own sample script, but mostly just for ideas. (When I'm trying not to cry, I stick to the simple stuff.) You can do it! I believe in you! #TrumpToo 10/10
PPS If it's not office hours or you're worried about talking to an unfriendly or overworked Congressional staffer &/or just don't like the damn telephone - an excellent piece of advice ↓ #TrumpToo 11/11
