1. The GOP Lacks Strategic Courage - here is my take on #Release the Memo
Once again Trumpians were left holding the bag and having to do a clean-up in aisle 5.
2. The GOP yet again over promised and under delivered. Frustratingly this was not for a lack of information or Democratic malfeasance but from the complete mismanagement by the GOP.
3. The GOP lacks strategic courage to do what needs to be done. The GOP twists itself to accommodate & appease the DNC. The Senate Intelligence Committee took the political scandal of the century and distilled it down into a weak & mealy-mouthed critique of the FBI FISA process.
4. The level of corruption, election interference and sedition by the left is staggering and all we have to show for it is a poorly worded memo. If this had been the reverse the Dems would not have stood for this for a single second.
5. This would have been handled last year day 1. Heads would have rolled, people would have been fired, the narrative controlled, and the Republicans would have not have known what hit them.
6. Long-term widespread corruption has seeped into every corner of the FBI and Justice Department and we haven’t even begun to peek under the covers of the CIA and NSA yet.
7. The longer traitors are left in place to thwart and undermine the current government the harder it will be to clean this mess up. When Trump arrived he should have fired the top and 4 down in every department. Long-time allies of his told him this.
8. They told Trump clearly it would be better to leave offices unfilled then to allow them to be filled with corrupt Obama hold overs. He did not do this and continues not to do this.
9. Back to the Memo – Why all the drama GOP? You dragged this out and allowed the narrative to hijacked all to put out a piece of paper that proved nothing and told us what we already knew?
10. What should have happened: In short order – as in when the info was originally discovered – months ago? A year ago? Nunes should have held a press conference immediately and simply stated the following:
11. The House Intelligence Committee has reviewed documents and testimony and determined the following:
We believe attempts to improperly influence the election were illegally undertaken by Obama appointees and DNC advocates from the Justice department and the FBI.
12. We further believe that since the Inauguration these same groups have continued to attempt to undermine the President of the United States.
13. We are demanding a full inquiry and that charges where determined be filed. We further demand the following personnel be immediately suspended pending the outcome of the inquiry – (insert list here – Rosenstein, Page, Strzok etc etc)
14. That’s it – that’s all – not 3 pages and a bit of obfuscating drivel that held the country hostage for weeks waiting on an anticlimactic release while the Dems turned the narrative.
15. At what point does the GOP “get it” and start playing hard ball? The country hangs in the balance and right now – no Mr President – they are “NOT WINNING” and nor will you if you don’t start pushing them to grow a backbone and do their job.
