You may have heard Bernie Sanders comments yesterday. Here's what he said:

“The real question to be asked is what was the Clinton campaign [doing about Russian interference]?" Sanders asked.

His aides backtracked very quickly, but Bernie's comments created a stir for sure.
2/ Later, Sanders said:

"Mueller's indictment provides further evidence that the Russian government interfered in 2016. It also shows that they tried to turn my supporters against Hillary Clinton in the primary and general election. I unequivocally condemn such interference."
3/ "A Sanders spokesman declined to explain the senator's apparent change of heart over the course of the day."

With all the heat on the NRA right now, I bet they appreciated the distraction. Anything to pull the attention away from Parkland, right?
politico.com/story/2018/02/…
4/ The blame shifting from Bernie sounds awfully familiar too.
nytimes.com/2018/02/20/us/…
5/ Seems like Trump would do just about anything to protect the NRA, right?
6/ The NRA loves Trump back, of course. Wayne LaPierre in particular.

"Wayne LaPierre, the chief executive of the N.R.A., predicted that Mr. Trump would help wage war against elites in academics, politics and the news media."
nytimes.com/2017/04/28/us/…
7/ Wonder what Wayne was up to in 1990.

“Bernie Sanders is a more honorable choice for Vermont sportsmen than Peter Smith,” wrote Wayne LaPierre, who was — and still is — a top official at the national NRA, backing Sanders over the Republican incumbent.

8/ So maybe Bernie really was doing the NRA a solid, after all, using the same tactics Trump uses all the time.

9/ I guess it's better than having us focus on the fact that Russia helped Bernie during the election too, right?

Why'd they do that?

Anything to pull us off the narrative that really matters. Right, Bernie?
usatoday.com/story/news/pol…
10/ I doubt Bernie would like people to focus on his chief strategist, Tad Devine, and his work for the Kremlin's man in Ukraine and the Trump campaign.
11/ Awkward, right? If Russian bots were helping Bernie, and Paul Manafort was working for the Kremlin, then what did Tad Devine know? When did he know it?
medium.com/@JamesFourM/tr…
12/ But you see, Bernie's a lot of things. An enemy of the NRA isn't one of them.
13/
14/
15/ "But Sanders’ argument obfuscates the true impact of his vote—namely, that the lawsuits he helped derail once represented the most viable effort in decades to stem the flow of guns onto the black market."
motherjones.com/politics/2016/…
16/ Here's one you may have missed though. It seemed odd at the time. Now, not so much.

Notice 'Century Arms' here.
17/ After the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in 2012, it was Bernie Sanders who came to Century Arms' defense.
mypalmbeachpost.com/news/delray-ar…
18/
19/ Wait, Century Arms was linked to Iran-Contra gun sales in 1987, and the NRA endorsed Bernie three years later? Yep.

The same people are running the NRA today, and Bernie's still providing cover for the NRA.

Seems like it might be related, you know?
20/ This isn't a shock, but yes, the NRA and Century Arms are in bed together.
21/ And with the Iran-Contra connection, we can't forget this recent report.

"Blackwater founder Erik Prince, ex-CIA officer John R. Maguire, and 🚩Iran-Contra linchpin Oliver North🚩 have been shopping a proposal to President Trump's White House."

22/ ⬇️Vitali Shkliarov worked for Bernie's campaign. Now he's working for the Kremlin's fake opposition candidate, Ksenia Sobchak. Her father was Putin's mentor. cc @KremlinTrolls

So yes, fake opposition.

Wonder what that makes Bernie? 🤔🤫

1/4 CODA:

This is in the Daily Caller. They're strong supporters of Trump, right?

To protect Trump, the GOP & the NRA, what do they have to do?

Maintain polarization. Make it us vs. them. Prevent sensible discussion gun reform.

Protect those profits.
dailycaller.com/2018/02/20/kil…
2/4:

Here's how fake opposition like @SenSanders helps them.

“I believed that we should not be selling assault weapons in this country."

"I do not know why we have 5 million of them running around the United States of America."

Oh really, Bernie?
dailycaller.com/2018/02/18/ber…
3/4 You have no idea? None, really?

Are you sure about that?

Because remember Century Arms, who you defended after children were slaughtered at Sandy Hook Elementary?

Yeah, you can go buy their assault weapons online right now and get them shipped to a store near you.
4/4: Bernie knows.

Whether you agree with an assault weapon ban or not, Bernie is being a disingenuous POS right there.

He's maintaining polarization.

He's pretending to be the good guy to his base.

It's #provokatsiya to maintain the status quo. ⬇️
