Sorry, ama let you finish but let me break twitter protocol for once and make a thread on your tweet.

Welcome to African history/culture 101

Cue (The San people of the Kalahari desert of Nother Namibia and Botswana)

Grab a seat because you're about to be educated.
Notice any similarities? Again Brymo's art in this video transcends what meets the eye like the bible, if you take it at face value you would not understand it, you have to look deeper to get a meaning.
The San people of North of Namibia and Botswana are desert people, they are gatherers and also engage in minor hunting. The movie "The Gods must be crazy" was based on them. They are called "bushmen", don't forget that word throughout this thread. "bushmen"
Before i circle back to how Brymo's video relates to them, here's another picture of the San "bushmen"
Alright let's go into it now.

The movie was about a coke bottle that got dropped from a plane into their desert village and they thought it was a gift from the gods because it made life easy and they all fought over it, at this same time technology was already popular.
Therefore, bushmen lacked "knowledge", they could be said to be ignorant people.
They lived in a desert in the midst of plenty "technology" especially in neighboring South Africa. And because of their ignorance the peace in the desert was upset over a coke bottle.
Okay, let's go back to how Brymo brought all this into play in the video that y'all are crying over.

The San people are REAL life bushmen, they existed, they still exist.
Brymo came out of water which usually symbolises "plenty", richness as a bushman then went on to sing about hardship brought on by ignorance "our ignorance", on a desert like turf...

wait there's more.
He depicted the ruins in the midst of plenty.

As a Nigerian, how could you not relate to this?

We live like desert men in the midst of wealth, because of "our ignorance".
People struggle in relationships just because they lack knowledge.
Can't you see what Brymo is saying? We are bushmen who lack knowledge and that is why we live in ruins in the midst of riches. In a nutshell, we are "Nigerians" and as long as we don't seek knowledge we would continue to live like desert people.
Thank you!

Class is done!

What have we learnt today? Brymo is still the GOAT! 👏👏👏
Also, im following everyone that follows back, just mention me for a follow back, t's hard to keep track sometimes
