Exactly. Journalists get a rough first draft of history (usually wrong), then once the mob dies down the story passes to academics, intellectuals, and eventually erudite historians—and finally we get the real story.

The lockdown fraud won't be a pretty picture in history books.
It's been remarkable during lockdowns seeing how many seemingly-educated people don't understand how history works. When human competition is involved, virtually all of the most consequential events are not reported accurately, if at all, in real-time.
The holodomor was not reported until decades later. Likewise German rearmament, the holocaust, and the Great Leap Forward. The futility of the Vietnam and Iraq wars was not reported in real time.

By corrupting global institutions, promoting hysterical data, publishing fraudulent science, and deploying propaganda on an unprecedented scale, Beijing transformed the snake oil of lockdowns into “science,” the greatest crime of the 21st century to date.
2/ The purpose of this letter is to request an expedited federal investigation into the scientific debate on major policy decisions during the COVID-19 crisis.

3/ In early 2020, the public turned to the advice of scientific authorities when confronted with an apparent viral outbreak. Soon after, most nations followed the advice of prominent scientists and implemented restrictions commonly referred to as “lockdowns.”

1/ It’s good to see that as we put pressure on the CCP for their lockdown fraud, the chorus of “we can’t blame the CCP” is getting louder. This is unsurprising, as Chinese state media has officially embraced this talking point—a signal its troll army and collaborators follow.
2/ The idea that “we can’t blame CCP” depends on one of three fallacies:

1. CCP didn’t take the actions they obviously took.
2. CCP’s actions were insufficient to produce the harm they obviously produced.
3. CCP can’t be blamed for causing the harm they obviously intended.
3/ Efforts to recall useful idiots like Gavin Newsom are highly encouraged. But Xi won’t care if we recall Newsom. Neither will Newsom for that matter. Newsom’s just a marionette. Xi will find another. The threat of arrests and decoupling, by contrast, might earn CCP’s respect.

My work is sometimes criticized for not discussing the merits of lockdown—perhaps even exculpating western leaders by blaming the CCP. Others know better. This thread is for the victims of lockdown, the greatest crime of the 21st century. Image
2/ Over 60% of business closures from lockdown are now permanent—over 97,000 businesses lost in the U.S. That “leaders” across the world transformed into tyrants, believing they had a right to bankrupt their subjects, is the core evil of lockdown.
3/ Nearly half of black-owned small businesses have been wiped out.

1/ Xi Jinping and Bill Gates, a Love Story

Xi and Bill first met in Beijing in May 2012, calling for closer cooperation between the Gates Foundation and its Chinese partners on medical care and technology.
2/ Xi and Gates slipped off together for a second meeting in April 2013 at the Boao Forum in Hainan, promising China would deepen its cooperation with the Gates Foundation.
3/ Xi met with Gates a third time at the Boao Forum in Hainan in March 2015, exchanging views on public health.

Yes, like Hancock, Drosten, Mandetta, and maybe Fauci, Canada's top health minister also appears to be in China's pocket. And no, not the mysterious Theresa Tam—no need to look that far down.

Meet Propaganda Patty Hajdu.
Hajdu's love affair with China appears to go back some time. Here she is in 2014 admiring the Beijing sunset.
Hajdu first earned the praise of Chinese foreign spokesperson Hua Chunying in early February for refusing to ban travel from China, in contrast to the US: "Canada believes the ban of entry has no basis, which is a sharp contrast for the U.S. behaviours"

1/ In 1954, Angela Merkel's family moved from West Germany to East Germany. This was VERY uncommon at the time, with East Germany known to be firmly under the jackboot of Joseph Stalin—the world's deadliest tyrant—and no guarantee of return.
2/ Merkel had a successful career in East Germany and has spoken highly of life there. A biography describes her family's reaction to reunification: "A reunited Germany" was "beyond their imagination… they strongly rejected the Western social system."
3/ The Stasi kept a file on every person in East Germany documenting their "good" behavior—collaborating and snitching—and "bad" behavior—possible resistance activities.

Merkel has never agreed to have her whole Stasi file published.

BIG: the WEF sponsors a global youth group (*cough, Hitler youth*) of 10,000 Global Shapers. (This group considers Taiwan a province of Greater China.)

The WEF has tasked Global Shapers with helping cities in "adapting to a new normal" and learning from "our friends" in China.
Readers may be familiar with the work of one particular WEF Global Shaper: Eric Feigl-Ding.
Klaus Schwab, head of WEF, has close China ties. His son, Olivier Schwab, has headed WEF's Beijing office since 2011.

In 2017, Xi PERSONALLY visited the WEF, and per Schwab: "the international community is looking to China to continue its responsive and responsible leadership"

1/ @WHO published current COVID testing guidance on March 19.

Only two sources in WHO's guidance discuss PCR Cycle Thresholds, both are from China and use CT from 37 to 40.

37 to 40 is now standard driving the case-demic, per NYT:
2/ First source cited in @WHO's COVID testing guidance:

Second source cited in @WHO's testing guidance (PCR cycle thresholds in appendices):
3/ So that's the banal story of how the excessive 37 to 40 cycle thresholds became global standard for COVID PCR testing, driving the case-demic. China's numbers 37 to 40 were simply the only ones included in @WHO's global testing recommendations.

1/ Tom Frieden is another prominent advocate of COVID lockdowns with strong, long-time ties to China, who has spent most of 2020 praising China's lockdowns while disparaging the United States.
2/ Frieden is also a fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, one of America's most elite and well-funded foreign-policy think tanks, notorious for long advocating friendly relations with China.
3/ For example, a quick review of top donors to the Council on Foreign Relations shows a nexus with the board of Tsinghua University, Xi Jinping's alma mater.

“The most benign possible explanation for the CCP’s campaign for global lockdowns is that the party aggressively promoted the same lie internationally as domestically”

I don’t believe that explanation.
2/ I doubt the CCP really knew how well its lockdown psyop would work, but everything about its response suggests the lockdowns were part of a larger plan. This was Xi’s plan to make the world China, and what the world would look like if he had his way.
3/ Intellectuals forewarned of tyrants using disease:

1/ Thread – “The Hammer and Dance”

On March 18, the German government circulated a CONFIDENTIAL strategy paper referring to the strategy of strict social distancing as the “Hammer and Dance.” The paper was later leaked to a whistleblower website.
2/ Anti-lockdown activists likely recall the term “Hammer and Dance” from CCP shill Tomas Pueyo’s viral March 19 article, which appeared one day AFTER Germany’s CONFIDENTIAL strategy paper was circulated on March 18.
3/ The term “Hammer and Dance” or “Hammer and the Dance” was never used before March 19.

Neither “Hammer and Dance” nor “Hammer and the Dance” appear on Twitter in the disease context before March 19.

1/ This is the question that keeps me up at night. The total failure of the intelligence community to connect China with lockdowns is the most devastating part of this story. I can only speculate as to several explanations, roughly in order of least-to-most concerning:
1. They just don’t know.

Immersed in our anti-lockdown community, it’s easy to forget how niche we are. Intel officials have expressed great interest in my work—it’s meant in part as a tip for them. So intelligence agencies may just not know yet.
2. The cleverness of the lab as decoy.

The CCP has deliberately funded rumors that COVID is a super-brain-eating-bio-weapon, mostly to discredit intelligence officials. Based on my interactions with intelligence folks, this decoy has been very effective.

1/ Last month, it was widely reported that Chinese business leader Ren Zhiqiang was given an 18-year sentence for calling Xi Jinping a "clown."

That's not what happened.

Ren was given an 18-year sentence because he wanted the truth about Xi's lockdowns.
2/ In his essay, Ren was disgusted with Xi's COVID response:

"Trying to cover up the true facts with various 'great achievements,' as if this epidemic began with your written instructions on January 7."

Jan 7 was the day Xi authorized Wuhan's lockdown.
3/ Ren continues: "Why haven’t the January 7 instructions been made public, not yet even today?! How were various national-level meetings able to gather after January 7? Why are you still traveling abroad? Why did you celebrate Spring Festival in Yunnan?…

1/ In his viral March 10 article, Tomas Pueyo predicted:
"in 2–4 weeks, when the ENTIRE WORLD is in lockdown… people won't criticize"

As of March 10:

-India, population 1,384,000,000. Cases: 62

-Pakistan, pop. 222,000,000. Cases: 19

-Bangladesh, pop. 165,000,000. Cases: 3
2/ As of March 10, when Pueyo predicted the whole world would soon be "in lockdown"…

-Brazil, population 213,000,000. Cases: 34

-Mexico, pop. 129,000,000. Cases: 7

-Argentina, pop. 45,000,000. Cases: 19

Many folks have asked about some suspicious high-level globalist initiatives and whether they might have worked with the CCP to fake a pandemic. This thread lists some key initiatives and their likely relation to the world lockdown catastrophe. Image
2/ Event 201

This eyebrow-raising, but good-faith, 2019 pandemic exercise, to which CCP was a party, simulated steps for global institutions to take during a severe coronavirus pandemic. This appears to be the model CCP hijacked for its COVID-19 fraud.
3/ Rockefeller Lock Step

This is a 2010 simulation of a nightmare pandemic leading to authoritarianism, discussing how philanthropies could help. If it seems like someone read these scenarios and the book 1984 and got ideas, that’s exactly what CCP did.

1/ A visual representation of the 2020 COVID psyop strategy, which appears to be a rare false-false-flag operation.

Essentially, the CCP used the Wuhan virology lab as a decoy to distract hawkish officials while laundering deadly, totalitarian lockdowns as “the science.”
2/ Regardless of origin, studies have proven COVID to be rather ordinary, IFR ~.13%. CCP used fake whistleblowers and propaganda to accuse ITSELF of releasing it, sowing fear and distracting China watchers from the totalitarianism cropping up around them.
3/ Meanwhile, CCP used its clout and collaborators in prestigious international, academic, media, and government institutions, which carry great weight with liberal elites, to normalize the lie that China’s measures could effectively “control the virus.”

1/5 Big News: USCIS issues policy generally disallowing visas and green cards for members of the CCP or “other totalitarian party.”

To my knowledge, this is the first official policy referring to the CCP as “totalitarian” since the end of the Cold War.
2/5 The USCIS policy dusts off an old law from 1952 which has lain dormant (unenforced) since the Cold War.

Earlier this year, Pompeo, O’Brien, Wray, and Barr referred to the CCP as a totalitarian threat, but this is the first official policy to do so.
3/5 This is an enormous step, marking a turn from tough words to concrete actions. The CCP has over 90 million members, so before celebrating too much, remember this likely affects people we know, though there are some exceptions and waivers available.

By promoting fraudulent data, aggressively deploying disinformation, and flexing its institutional clout, Beijing transformed the snake oil of lockdowns into “science,” crippling rival economies, expanding its influence, and sowing authoritarian values.
In March 2020, liberal democracy ground to a sudden stop.

Like the Reichstag Fire of 1933, historians may never know how SARS-CoV-2 came about. For scientists, exploring its origins would be a rewarding endeavor if it weren’t precluded by the jackboot of Xi Jinping’s CCP.
As one lead scientist wrote: "Xi's persistent refusal to allow an independent international investigation into the origins of the virus is more than a lack of responsibility, it is a declaration of contempt for human life." "It is a crime that cost lives."

This thread is a survey of how some of CCP's closest allies have handled COVID-19. Some interesting circumstantial evidence can be gleaned from the responses, though they vary significantly depending on many factors. Image
2/ First, of course, if you have a devious plan to shut down the world, the first person you tell is your best, oldest friend. Thus clued in, Kim Jong Un has reported near-zero COVID cases in North Korea, essentially treating NK as an extension of China.

3/ Iran is another close ally of CCP that seems to have been in on the shutdown scam from the beginning. Iran played a big role in early COVID hysteria with tales of apocalypse and mass graves that seem illegitimate in hindsight.
