Why do most DC thinktanks still exist when they've had zero policy successes for the past 8 years, with the obvious exception of Brookings engineering Russiagate? As I've written previously, the policy successes of the DC right thinktanks were welfare reform (Heritage), the Iraq surge (AEI), and judicial shift toward liberty (Cato, the most successful). What have they done in the past ten years?

Hard to express how many false things Trump says in this one "Truth". First, not a single candidate Trump endorsed who lost backed his fictional "no exceptions even in the case of rape incest or life of the mother". Literally zero Republican candidates think abortion should be banned when a mother's life is at risk.

President Joe Biden repeatedly directed his staff to silence Americans on Twitter who disagreed with his policies. Joe Biden should be impeached.

From the latest edition of @TheSpectator, my profile of Shane Gillis.
spectatorworld.com/topic/shane-gi… Gillis is the rare comic who gets the moment thanks to his Pennsylvania origin. Also he has Hieronymus Bosch’s “The Garden of Earthly Delights” on the wall in his apartment.

Let's talk about To Catch A Thief, 1955, probably the sexiest film ever made. Edith Head was at her peak here - scene after scene has iconic costumes

INTERVIEW: Bill Barr
open.spotify.com/episode/0rsJUI… Several thoughts on Barr to follow: the man essentially saved Trump's presidency by exposing the Russia collusion hoax as fiction, but is blamed for ending it by also seeing the stolen 2020 election narrative as fiction.

So What Happens If Trump's Primary Endorsements Fail? Today's @TheTransom -
thetransom.substack.com/p/what-happens… The next Congress is guaranteed to be more Trumpian in focus and tone. But Trump may be personally risking more by weighing in on coin flip races where his choices may lose. Repeated Mo Brooks incidents aren't what you expect from the king of the jungle.

Democrats, I have terrible news for you.

Hispanics are Republicans now.

We'll give you a minute to think about what you did to make this happen. Maybe when you made everything about an open border, you were listening to white liberals instead of families and workers.

Incredible amount of Commonwealth political history in this image.

Not pictured: Terry McAuliffe (loser). Five of these men realistically thought they could be president at some point. All but one of them would be better than Biden right now.
