Blame capitalism, a 🧵

1) People didn't vote for Trump because they're all racist, they voted for Trump because they're selfish and only care about their own economic situation, and they've been propagandized to believe irrational right-wing bullshit on economic issues. 2) The virulent spread of irrational right-wing bullshit on economics has been enabled by BOTH political parties and ALL their media allies refusing to critique the root cause of all of society's problems, which is capitalism itself.

Can one liberal explain to me how Biden has so little power as the President he can't fulfill a single campaign promise without Joe Manchin's approval, but Trump had so much power as the President that we were inches away from dictatorship? A lot of the commenters saying it's about how Trump had a few more Senators, they definitely don't seem to realize how much can be done without Congress.
