Roman Alekhin, an advisor to the governor of Kursk, urged the residents of Rylsk to evacuate while it is still possible and safe. He emphasized not to wait until the last minute, as some other towns did, and stressed that the lives of the residents and their families are more valuable than anything else. According to Russian sources, the AFU is now pushing stronger than before towards Glushkovo. Ukrainian forces have regained control over Martynovka after it was in a gray zone due to Russian counterattacks. In geolocated footage, AFU forces were also seen advancing east of the town near the railway tracks.
