They just cancelled her flight home. This will be her second Christmas in a row without her family and I get it, COVID, everything sucks. But here's the thing; she had 18 hours off from being an EMT and was flying out today because she's an EMT. COVID didn't fuck her; her job - the low-paying job she took because she wants to help people- did.
