'It should not be done; it would be inappropriate because the government agencies are still operating under the current administration,' he said.

Prayut also denied knowing anything about a secret deal to form a coalition against the MFP-led coalition.

Varawut, however, mentioned that if an invitation is extended, the party's executive committee members will consider it.
Varawut also clarified that the meeting between Srettha and Anutin at a football match was most likely for leisure purposes, and the photos from the meeting can be seen as a coalition for a "national government" (a lower house without opposition) instead. ImageImage

Srettha stated that he is acquainted with the Srivaddhanaprabha family and had been present in Leicester to celebrate when they won the Premier League.

He mentioned that he had been planning this trip for months and it was merely a coincidence that Anutin was also present.
He stated that he personally knows Anutin and emphasized that their conversation had nothing to do with politics, contrary to speculation.

"If we were discussing a political deal, there would have been no need to travel to England for such discussions," he clarified.
