Had to use #111nhs over Easter w/end for emergency scripts of my daily meds. After 2 calls & 21 hour wait dr rang. Immediately said "I cannot prescribe ANY controlled drugs." Thankfully, I knew this was an outright lie so I asked if we could discuss it & (1)
Would she look at my electronic notes. She did & then asked me why I was prescribed each med (fair) so I answered. She then said "Well it won't kill you to miss all these meds for 4 days". Think that was more shocking to me than her lie. Again I explained (2)
that actually it would be very dangerous for me to suddenly just stop all my meds for 4 days & that I would indeed end up in hospital. Reluctantly she did indeed prescribe my meds inc 2 CD's. She then said "I'll be calling not only your regular GP but (3)
