In that circumstance, it would still be awful advice, and when you give it to a disabled person, it's bad, awful, ableist advice.

I decided I wanted to get out of the tech industry because I saw a huge glut coming. In the mid 90’s I was on the forefront of upgrading businesses, starting with getting some (for the first time) and on the internet using email, web pages and sales.
I was dabbling in investing in ‘new tech’ with a bit of a greater fool mentality. ‘If they like that they will love this’. Buying into B2B internet stocks before the term was even popularized. But as we approached y2k it became obvious that there will be little to know work soon
When I get asked for #investing #advice from young people in their 20’s and what they should read etc. Here’s how I typically respond in a thread:
I explain that the first two steps are:
1. figure out what kind of investment style you are best suited for and
2. then try to become as much of an expert at it as you can and find an edge that yields repeatable performance

One way to attack step one is to moderately acquaint yourself with famous successful investors and then dig down deeper into the ones that you relate most to and find to be similar to you in personality/habits

Last year, she complained that I got a card for the wrong holiday, explaining that it was not yet Yom Easter, but Yom Christmas! Who can keep track with the weird solar calendar they follow??

This year, I made sure to get her a Christmas card. She then pointed out that it had the wrong kind of tree (a maple tree is a tree, so I don't get what the big deal is) and the wrong kind of star!

Everything below I use @obsdmd for. I love how it's simply a markdown editor and file-structure visualiser at first but you can add all the plugins you need to make it ever more complex.
I fill out the same note template for every paper I read. It asks for metadata, content tags, a personal brief thought about the paper, etc. I make sure to write a tl;dr in my own words after reading. DM me if you want the template :) (it adjusted from @y0b1byte's template)

I would advise you to do some research into the transitional process and the availability of transitional healthcare in your area, as well as make contact with transgender groups in your location.
If you need signposting to groups then drop me a DM and I will find you somewhere you can speak with trans women and work things out. Lived experience counts for so much and having the opportunity to speak to people who have done it will be vital to you understanding yourself.
