Donât forget, itâs due to the likes of John Banks that Auckland has been cursed with itâs completely big money focused âSupercity Councilâ with itâs autonomous out of control Auckland Transport entity - which ignores the public with impunity.
Why didnât Kim Hill (normally a pretty thorough interviewer) confront John Banks with the hypocrisy of him supporting the SuperCity and AT and now making slick sounding promises of fixing them?
How? Does he plan to privatise AT, and inevitably, ultimately make it far far worse?
