My story of #academicmisconduct in an authentic task designed to help students demonstrate a knowledge of the content & prepare them for graduate job applications #ascilite2018 #academicintegrity
The task was a video interview - 2 questions students received about course content, applying theory in context. Students applied randomly to one of 10 groups - all diff questions. Students did not know what questions they would get #ASCILITE2018
60% marks for presentation skills (verbal and non-verbal).
15% for their camera and background
15% on content
Plenty of support, exemplars, rubric/assessment criteria given
Video testimonials from past students about the importance of the task to get a grad job
