In #Adigrat people live in an IDP camp in a secondary school. A mother with 5 children sleeps on a blackboard (left), covered with plastic sheets. Nights in mountaineous Tigray can be cold.

Here people have at least drinking water. They complain that food aid still hasn't reached them for months. During the war, over one million people have been displaced.

The @UN on Friday said that it is "now abundantly clear to all" that Eritrean troops are operating throughout Ethiopia's northern #Tigray region and "well-corroborated" reports suggest they are responsible for atrocities. @amnesty too has been calling for #justice #freedom

โall people from Besober, Ulaga, Bala, Chamaro, Hawelti and May Mekden kebeles were displaced due to the conflict. #IDPs and the affected communities lost their belongings, mainly household items, food stock, jewelry, & cash. Most of those belongings were looted or destroyed 2/20
According to the regional authorities in #Mekelle, ๐บ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ป ๐ฐ.๐ฑ ๐บ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ผ๐ป currently require some sort of humanitarian assistance... In Alamata and nearby areas only, about ๐ณ๐ต๐ฎ,๐ฑ๐ฌ๐ฌ require urgent food assistance. 3/20
