1/ I was born in a Christian home and embraced the religion of my parents. I am a practicing Christian and my faith is quite important to me. But I am also a scientist. I believe in data and research, and I try to integrate science and my faith into a coherent ideology.
2/ Faith and doubt coexist in a weird amalgam in my mind. Reminds me of the guy who said, “I believe, Jesus, please help my unbelief”. I am relatively well-read so I am aware of multiple datapoints that cannot be explained by my faith. That knowledge breeds religious humility.
