"India 4 Afghanistan* & similar ideas only show how hatred &/or geopolitics fuel make-believe alliances. India, who was sidelined by the world & Taliban in Afghanistan faltered when it came to actually helping Afghan refugees- there is no ppl-ppl love between Afghanistan & India.
Major anti-Pakistan racism from Afghan ultranationalists, who were on both ex regime & Taliban sides, liken Pakistanis to Indians in an attempt to degrade Pakistanis by inferring Indians are somehow lesser people than Afghans.
IIndia's sizable ultranationalist population has deep hatred of Afghan's "invasive" history. There's no love between Afghans & Indians- ask why there would even be any. Even r.e religion, Muslims are used for politics & events like #AssamHorror are not uncommon.

This thread explains the situation prior to partition. Now let’s take an extensive look at the situation & discriminations that the native Assamese have faced into their own country due 2 appeasement, stupidity, political correctness, & vote bank politics.
Assam has been mentioned in religious epics like the Puranas, and also in the Mahabharata. In the epic Mahabharata, it was referred to as the land of Kirats with Pragjyotishpur as its capital.

-There must be swift action against those responsible for his murder, token arrests won’t do

-Compensate Haque sb’s family

-Immediately stop the displacement of Bengali Muslims in Darrang 1/n
-Rehabilitate all the displaced families

-Stop demonising Indian citizens & calling them Bangladeshi

We know from past experience that even these basic demands will not be met. At the very least, we will make it a point to remember Haque sb. 2/n
Just like we have learnt to remember victims of Nellie Massacre (1983), Kokhrajhar (2012), Delhi (1984) & countless others who never saw justice

People have been living in the river islands of Dhalpur, Darrang for at least 40-50 years, many since 1960s. 3/n
