'Abolish #AustraliaDay': Captain Cook statue covered in 'blood' by vandals au.yahoo.com/news/abolish-a… <--- "Blood." This like so many stories now. Seemingly isolated act by "lone wolf" vandals. MSM "reports" on it. IMO it's orchestrated (at arm's length) by #Cabal for comms.
Another blog post about allusion to hidden trade that I think has so much to do with current madness. matthaydenblog.com/2022/01/buffed… Image

1/ Without wanting to be unkind, it's evident from looking at Scott Morrison that he's prefers to be a spectator of sport rather than a participant.
When he ran for Cook, he developed a character. A rugby league loving, everyday bloke, a daggy dad.

2/ Morrison hadn't followed league but he learnt about it. He became the Sharkies number 1 ticket holder, wore his scarf, waved it, & drank beers.
This character, eventually named ScoMo, was used to gain a following & send political messages.
#ScottyFromMarketing was astute.
3/ Recently, @CricketAus were naughty. They made a decision, after consulting with Indigenous leaders, to promote inclusion. #ScottyFromMarketing was not happy.
How dare a sports body interfere in political matters, he argued.

On this #AustraliaDay, I am struck by this thought: I wasn’t born here. I was lucky enough to be welcomed here. I have lived a decade of my adult life overseas but overwhelmingly my friends have been and are Australian. Some have heritage going back 1000s of years.
Some like me are migrants. They come from everywhere. Many are multi-generational white Australians who love this country and strive for it. I don’t want my kids putting their hands on their hearts to pledge allegiance. They don’t need to. They’re Australians already.
I recognise the deep pain many, if not all, aboriginal Australians feel about January 26. I have listened to that and I feel it. But I am proud of this complex mess we call Australia and overwhelmingly grateful to be part of it. Let’s keep talking, loving and seeing each other.

Dear brother and sister officers active here, especially you retired ones: I have some concerns. I hope you'll listen. Why are so many of us shilling for far-Right politicians? It's dishonourable and foolish.
#AustraliaDay brought it into focus. Can any of us really argue with the proposition that modern #Australia is founded on the conquest of this continent, the dispossession and genocide of its first people? Yet I'm seeing you do just that.
Anthropogenic #climatechange and the consequences of #environment destruction are about as scientifically controversial as gravity or evolution. Yet I see some of you desperately lying about that, too - as though you owned coal mines.
