అంటూ మరొక రకం కొలమానం వాడేవారు. అదే విధంగా రసాయన శాస్త్రంలో అణువులు (atoms), బణువులు (molecules), వగైరా రేణువులు ఎన్ని ఉన్నాయో కొలవడానికి "మోల్" అనే కొలమానం వాడతారు.
