El Rey del Azerbaijan GP.

Primer piloto que repite victoria; piloto con el mayor número de podios, 5 de 7.

Aunque gran parte de su fan base diga que el equipo lo perjudica, fue el equipo quién lo dejó adelante de Verstappen.

Gran fin de semana

2- Verstappen:

Muy medido; sabe muy bien que una carrera no se gana en la primera vuelta o que un campeonato no se gana en una sola carrera.

3- Leclerc:

Primer podio para Ferrari y Leclerc, en el mejor fin de semana que han tenido en 2023.

El SF23 no tiene los problemas de drag que tiene el Aston Martin, aprovecharon muy bien su ventaja.

Baku está 28 metros bajo el nivel del mar. En teoría, por regla general, a menor altitud, mayor downforce y mejor rendimiento del motor.

2- El Gran Premio de Azerbaijan ha tenido 6 ganadores diferentes en las 6 carreras que se han corrido.

Overall lap time chart doesn't show us too much to be honest. Unlike Spain where the bands of racing were beautifully outlined. First stint it's vaguely there, second stint more so, then final stint is sorta wishy washy

Clean air lap pace table for Baku.
Clean air laps are any set outside of 2.5s of the car ahead. These can fall in the 1st/2nd half which can affect the time.
2 RBRs comfortably ahead and #SV5 is third fastest overall. Not bad stuff, and poor #VB77 is slower than #GR63...

I thought that I would take a short look at the tyre issues in the #AzerbaijanGP today as I've had a fair few questions about it already! (Thread)

Aston Martin were trying an alternate strategy with Lance Stroll during the race, starting on the (C3) hard tyre and running deep into the race, hoping for a safety car and to get track position as a result. It seemed to be going well, and then it wasn't.

The left rear tyre failed, with the inner sidewall separating from the rest of the tyre at high speed.

Difesa/sorpasso di Gasly su Leclerc nel corso del penultimo giro incredibilmente sottovalutata comunque. Pierre ha fatto un piccolo capolavoro di strategia #AzerbaijanGP

Essenzialmente, durante la bandiera rossa, Pierre aveva chiesto al suo ingegnere se nel corso dell'ultimo giro potesse usare l'overtake in uscita dalla 16. Il team gli aveva risposto di no, perché altrimenti sarebbe andato in derating prima del traguardo #AzerbaijanGP

Il "magic" di Hamilton è la mappatura che usano in Mercedes per attivare la procedura per riscaldare i freni durante SC etc. Sul volante di Lewis si attiva con un pulsante che si trova nella parte posteriore in alto a destra. Sul volante di Bottas è il "BW" #AzerbaijanGP

Giusto per aggiungere qualche dettaglio a riguardo. Nella prima foto il magic è attivo, nella seconda è disattivato. Quindi Lewis effettivamente lo ha disattivato prima di schierarsi in griglia, come da procedura #AzerbaijanGP

Come ha poi spiegato Hamilton stesso, il problema si è posto quando durante la partenza, spostandosi verso sinistra per reagire al movimento di Perez, Lewis aveva innavertitamente schiacciato quel pulsante, attivando il magic #AzerbaijanGP

Per quanto riguarda Red Bull, sia Perez che Verstappen hanno girato con la soluzione più scarica (visibile anche dal fatto che sia senza gurney flap) questa mattina, dopo che nella giornata di ieri avevano fatto delle prove comparative #AzerbaijanGP

Mercedes è tornata ad una soluzione più scarica con doppio monopilone di sostegno, mentre ieri avevano girato soprattutto con un'unità più carica #AzerbaijanGP

Ferrari ha confermato la soluzione più scarica che avevano ampiamente provato nella seconda sessione di libere, lasciando da parte la soluzione a cucchiaio #AzerbaijanGP
