Khalif is charged with "attempting to elicit information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism" in August 2021.
He was also accused of "placing an article with the intent of inducing a belief in another that the said article was likely to explode," according to police.

During a rescue operation at the intersection of Shaftesbury Avenue and Charing Cross Road, he was pronounced dead at the scene at Cambridge Circus.

Pop-up restrooms are kept below ground & raised hydraulically to street level for use at night.
At 13:05 GMT, crews were dispatched to the scene, and by 15:40, the man was free.

He was released by fire crews using a winch. He was declared dead despite the efforts of the emergency services, according to the Met Police. The deceased man's kin have been notified.

The NHS hospital trust pleaded guilty over the care of Wynter Andrews, who died after being born in 2019 at the Queen's Medical Centre.

The total fine of £1.2 million was reduced to £8,00,000 due to the trust's guilty plea.
District Judge Leong said the "systematic failures" were "more than sufficient" to cause harm to Wynter and her mother Sarah.

She added: "In giving the trust full credit for its early guilty pleas, the fine will be £800,000. The trust will also pay a victim surcharge of £181."

Police are looking for suspects and more information after eight cars were torched in two areas of #Glasgow in about 45 minutes.

According to reports, the vehicles were burnt out in neighbouring Penilee & Hillington between 04:22 and 05:05 on Thursday.
One of the residents said that on seeing the flames, she ran to get her 10-year-old daughter, two dogs and two guinea pigs out of the back of the house. #UK #Crime

A neighbour had raised the alarm at about 04:45.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the first call they received was about a car on fire on Penneld Road at 04:22 with the last report being about a vehicle on fire in Tweedsmuir Road at about 05:05.

Portadown Town Hall had been open for those residents who were moved from their homes.

The NI Fire and Rescue Service @NIFRSOFFICIAL were also at the scene with three appliances in attendance.
In a PSNI statement on Thursday night, a spokesperson said: "A number of homes in the area have been evacuated. Please avoid the area if possible."

Shortly after 11 pm, PSNI said the road had reopened and residents were being allowed to return to their homes.

A teenager has been charged with attempted murder after a car hit a police motorcycle in Edinburgh. At around 16:15 on January 11, police requested that a black Audi A1 stop in the Bathfield area of the city.
The driver allegedly then drove directly at the officers, striking one of them before fleeing to Granton. According to the police, an 18-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday. The same Audi was suspected of being involved in an incident 48 hours earlier when it was stopped for a suspected traffic violation.
