This film is first on the list cos I believe no other film can match up to the impact that it left with me. Was shell-shocked watching the climax. IMO, Denis Villeneuve's best work till date.

2. #TheRaid: Redemption (Indonesian)
The first fit into the tag of a 'complete action film' for me. Non-stop fun with all ranges of mixed martial arts and tense situations. I revisit this whenever I need a shot of adrenaline. Streaming on AMAZON PRIME.

#LesMiserables:
Has to be the most powerful film of the year! Think of films like La Haine, Do The Right Thing and Training Day. A tense cop thriller set in Paris Suburbia with an explosive last act that you aren't prepared for. A solid debut from Ladj Ly!

#Bacurau:
The only thing I read about the film before watching was that it's a Brazilian western and someone said it's Brazil's version of Lagaan. I can say that's true with this film that plays out like a Kurosawa/John Carpenter mash up and it's damn entertaining!

Se assistiu, sabe que quando Teresa (BĂĄrbara Colen) chega em Bacurau para o enterro de sua avĂł Carmelita, ela Ă© recebida por Damiano (Carlos Francisco), que pede que ela abra a sua boca e lhe deposita na lĂngua uma semente dourada, que Ă© prontamente engolida
Depois de alguns minutos, em pleno sepultamento da avĂł, Teresa estĂĄ tendo uma viagem. Ăgua e mais ĂĄgua brotam do caixĂŁo de Carmelita, e assim entendemos que nĂŁo havia sido exatamente uma lasquinha de rapadura o que Damiano havia dado Ă moça
