Had been a big fan of financials always.
But D way world is changing from March 2020,I am in doubt whether
#hdfcbank #kotakbank #Bajajfinance #bajajfinserv n other Money lenders will be as profitable as those were between 1990-2019!
You can check the results of #bfsi in Last (1/n
4-5 quarters for backtesting.
#investors may look forward to LENDING BUSINESS where big corporates R not involved.

Let us have an example,
#RelianceIndustries has raised huge funds in last 17 months, but they were not dependent on #hdfcbank #kotakbank #Bajajfinance #bajajfinserv
For the fund.
World is changing very fast, and if you continue your #Investment mindset like 90s or 2k, you should revisit your cognitive perception.
Only retail lenders with huge collaterals may survive n grow well in this decade.
#management analysis is important here.(3/n)

There are different phases of Bull 🐂 market.(WILL discuss in detail later)
In this particular phase of Bull 🐂 market, it's better to park your money a bit (rather 1:1 to be on safer side to large blue chip stocks to that of mid and small cap for at least 1 quarter)
You can allocate accordingly after result of next QUARTER.

Probably you have observed #HCL is performing better than #newgen or #deepaknitrite performing better than #cleanscience or #BajajFinance performing better than #manapurum finance.(2/n)
Thanks for your time ✍️🙏.

Big news came in that #BajajFinance has been granted authorisation to issue pre-paid instruments.

What are pre-paid istruments and what it means for @Bajaj_Finance ? Let's learn in the thread below. 🧵
What are PPIs?

RBI as per under the Payment and Settlement Act, 2005 defined Prepaid Payment Instruments as instruments of payment that facilitate buying of goods and services, including the transfer of funds against the value stored within or on the instrument.

I believe #ratio #charts are one of the most underrated and underutilized tools in #technicalanalysis. Do you agree?
Ever wondered which stock to chose between the two?

#HDFC or #HDFCBank?
#TCS or #Infosys?
#HeroMoto or #BajajAuto?
#ACC or #Ambuja?
#BajajFinserv or #Bajajfinance?

But don't know whats the best approach to pick one?
#Ratio #charts can help you identify the best stock for #trading and #investment. You can plot a #ratiochart by dividing the price on one stock with another. Its preferable to divide the high priced stock with low priced one to get ratios greater than 1.

Market has given me many lessons. It tells me to set aside my ego. Never get married to your stocks. Whenever you are going to buy a stock , make a clear mindset about it. Is it for investing or trading. Never jump between these two based on stock price movement.#marketstrategy
When you have bought a stock for trading based on technicals or your any strategy, always have a stoploss based on that strategy. Most important thing is to respect stoploss and humbly accept loss. You can't be right everytime.
If you respect stoploss, there are very high chances that you will end up making money overall (considering you have done your homework). If your success ratio is 33% then also you can be on profitable side. Lose less by respecting stoploss and make big on positive bets.

My thread on #Bajajfinance stock - Company analysis, Segments, Valuation by inbuilt Growth vs RoR and Intrinsic valuation by Excess returns model. This involves a lot of assumptions and rationale (I may be wrong in my assumptions) #Stockanalysis #Stockvaluation
This is for academic purpose and not a recommendation, Purpose to share and highlight how to go about analysing and valuing a NBFC. I have not used the traditional DCF model because its not recommended to value Banks/NBFCs through DCF model
Business analysis - Below are the business segments of Bajaj Finance and classification of what these segments do?

#BajajFinance is falling based its loan book which is 90% unsecured. As per experts it would be difficult to collect. Let's clarify few things.
1) Bajaj Finance loan book consists of customers of the avg #Cibil score is 750. They don't approve anything below 700 at all.... (1)
2) The customer repayment may not hit hard since since the avg EMI is not more than Rs:5000/-(approx)
3) In current scenario the customer default would be limited since the Cibil plays a major role in customer credit worthiness

3) It has a mkt share of 72% consumer finance and..
And at current scenario ( last one year sales Cash vs Finance) the sales thru finance contributes 50% of the total sales in major segments.
4) The collection process of Bajaj is far stronger compared to its nearest competitor interns of infra and manpower.

#TweetStorm - Expensive or deserves to be Expensive ? 1)One thumb rule for screening expensive companies is Market Cap to Sales or Enterprise Value to Sales. A 10x or more is generally expensive unless the company can grow sales rapidly or has extremely high Net Profit Margins.
2)Another way to look at expensive is if the Market Cap is equal to the Total Sales of the Addressable Market Size. This would lead to company having to launch different products in the future.
3)May not be the approach to take a Sell Decision or a Short Sell Decision. Very few companies can command such high valuations. Thumb Rule is just to review the investment thesis and the quality of the business. If doubts on quality , get out.
